Jus a question, how good is the story? Say in comparison to the first bioshock (which is one of my favourites) how good is it?

when ever I play the game it crashes after 5 minutes or goes to a grainy screen, does anyone know what I should do (I have already validated the files)

I must say, Bethesda has done a phenomenal job of sticking to that certain "Lovecraftian" feel. The master of classic horror deserves nothing short of perfection.

Great game, I've read the stories of Lovecraft, and I have to admit that the game them very well.
But now I am at the part, where you are at that ship...and you have to shoot some lights at the reef with the canon..but there are no lights....seems like a wellknown bug...Now I have the choice of using someone elses safegame ...or to try it on my own with the help of some vids, that show the location of them. I would prefer this method because somehow I want to keep my stats ...and I want to have the feeling that I beated the whole game on my own.^^
Right now I don't have the patience but I will give it a try.

Hi all. New to the game. My OS is Win7 Pro 64bit. The game wants to install WMP 9 codecs. I have WMP 12. Will the game's install of WMP 9 codecs break my WMP 12 codecs?

Hey does the steam version require unoffical patches to fix bugs or something. I heard that you have to download some stuff to fix certain bugs but I didn't think that was for the steam version.

this game was excellent but its sad there wont be a sequel because headfirst went bankrupt

this is such an outstanding game! there area ton of glitches however due to the massivly immersive storyline i was able to over look it.
