All praise and glory be to Jesus Christ our Lord. God bless every one of you guys. Amen.
Does any of us ever use chat room or no?
God bless!
1 Peter 4:8
"Who has ascended to heaven and come down? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has wrapped up the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name, and what is the name of His Son? Surely you know!"
I will both lie down in peace, and sleep;
For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.
1 Chronicles 16:11
"Seek the Lord and His strength, seek His face continually."
confirma corda nostra contra tentationem
et serva nos a peccato.
Amen
You’ve said Christians are required to keep Sabbath and dietary laws, with serious consequences for not doing so.
I’m confused how that lines up with Acts 15, where the apostles explicitly decide Gentile Christians are not bound to Mosaic Law and list only four requirements — none of which include Sabbath or food laws.
Am I misunderstanding the Jerusalem Council, or are you saying apostolic authority got this wrong?
May we continue to remember His sacrifice for us. And by God's grace, we may be blameless before God when judgement day comes and as His children. God bless everyone here today!
though you look for them, they will not be found.
11 But the meek will inherit the land
and enjoy peace and prosperity
John 3:17
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
Our Father, thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus, to the earth to save my life and set me free. He is the greatest gift! Today, I surrender any expectations of how I think my life (Christmas!) should be, and I trust Your timing and Your plans for me. In Jesus’ name, amen
on this holy night,
we thank You for the gift of Your Son.
May His light fill our hearts
with peace, hope, and love,
and shine upon the world.
Bless our homes, our loved ones,
and all those we carry in our hearts.
Amen.
Merry Christmas
