I'll try and be on regularly too, soft commitment possible for any of mon-fri evenings. Sadly I'm GMT so my hours won't match up with yours estyles.

I recently got one of the mates into this game so hopefully both of us will be on playing regularly.

ericfletcher - that was a very interesting game we just played. My Empowered Black vs. your Classic White. a) I wish the software allowed saving and replaying games, because that was one that I'd like to study. and b) I wonder if a postmortem thread, either in this steam group or in the game's discussion forums, would be a good idea...

I was thinking about organizing a regular time or times for people to try to be online for live games.

Adding people as friends doesn't really work for me (I'm just not the type to message people to say "hey you want to play chess 2 right now" when they may just be idling or playing/about to play a different game). For me, I'd rather just set a time to play and go in Searching for Game Mode during that time.

So, is there any time that people would be willing to make a soft commitment to play? For me, Monday, or Wednesday nights between 7:00-10:00 CST (GMT-6) or Tuesday night 9:00-11:00 CST are probably best. By soft commitment, I basically just mean, "this is the time we'll try to be searching for a game as much as possible so that we're more likely to be successful".

Add me to play Chess 2 in real time. (or correspondance). Thanks!
