Been a crazy few years, huh? There's been quite a few times where I'd thought back on CDC and the good old days.

Trying to bring back CDC2 never really panned out unfortunately, cause the call for these kinds of servers has dropped dramatically over the years...

However, I will just say that if you know anything about Open Fortress, you should stay posted because I will be potentially establishing a new server group project some day after it's launch in 2026 - it won't be CDC, but it will have it's vibe. Definitely keep posted if that's something you're interested in.

I'd assumed as much, I primarily wanted to put some kind of statement out there for anyone else that's curious.

Although, I will say that there's a chance I will be bringing back CDC2 in the future on tf2 classic, once I figure out the hosting situation. I've discovered that TF2C allegedly supports a wide variety of custom tf2 maps recently.

If anyone's got any input or advice on that, get a hold of me. The dream ain't completely dead yet.

To be quite honest, this kind of TF2 server is just a dying breed overall... Some day I'll perhaps revisit CDC2 and give it another shot but I dunno at this point given the whole bot-pocalypse going on throughout TF2.

Perhaps I'll host another server on a different game in the future? Suggestions are welcome as always.
