Counter Strike Global Offensive se marca un tanto antes del fin de semana liberando nueva información. El shooter está previsto para el 2012 con juego cruzado entre Playstation 3, PC y MAC, y con la recuperación de siete mapas clásico (dust, dust2, aztec, nuke, inferno, italy, office) y la llegada de ocho nuevas armas (Decoy Grenade, Molotov, IMI Negev, Taser, Tec-9 Mag-7, Sawed-Off, PP-Bizon) según Kotaku.

En cuanto al sistema de control, en consolas se utilizará el mando, pudiéndose conectar Playstation Move en Playstation 3 (no se confirma soporte para Kinect). En PS3 también se podrá utilizar teclado y ratón. Valve también ha prometido nuevos modos de juego que se sumarán a Desactivar la Bomba y Rescate de Rehenes. La beta dará comienzo en octubre.
