Upgrades and Changes

Hey guys, sorry for the limited updates and responses recently. It's been a hectic couple months.

A few things that are coming up for the site:

1. Bots will be upgraded soon. We are currently working to fix all the issues with the bots. Once this is complete, the bots will be faster, and will not mess up occasional offers the way they do currently. This should change the entire site to make it a much better experience for you.

2. Pricing Fixes. We are working to set up a new pricing system so there is less fluctuation in pricing. This will allow us to accept more items, as well as ensure you receive the best deal possible for your skins.

3. Jackpot is going away. This needs to happen. We originally put it in at the request of many users, but do not want to continue the site in this manner, especially with Steam's changes to gambling policies.

4. New offer providers coming soon. We will be implementing two other offer providers soon, for more ways to earn credits.

Buying Cases Again

Hey everyone,

As of yesterday, low-priced cases and guns are being accepted again. We plan to always accept them from now on. We had issues with our bots filling up their inventories last month, but we do not expect this issue again. While low-priced cases may be turned down occasionally when there are 1000+ each, the low-tier skins will always be welcome.

I've been busy the last few weeks moving to a new apartment. I apologize if you have an issue that has gone unaddressed during this time. My internet is being hooked up tomorrow, and I will be working to catch up on any issues over the next week.

Recent Pricing Issue

Hey guys. It's been a hectic weekend. I want to make sure we remain transparent about things from our end.

On 17 March, the company we use to provide prices for us took a dump, resulting in several items paying outrageous amounts. The most absurd of these was several hundred dollars for AK-47 | Safari Mesh (Field-Tested). Many honest users reported this issue to us, and we have tried to reward them accordingly. There were several users who attempted, some successfully and others not, to exploit the issue. These users have been permanently banned.

To be clear, users who willfully invest in defrauding this business are not welcome as customers, and are not entitled to compensation for their fraudulent and unethical behavior. While we understand the appeal of the opportunity, it jeopardize the services we provide to tens of thousands of users daily, and is not tolerable in any setting.

We will be getting inventory back to prior levels over the next week, and resuming operations as normal. Currently there are several restrictions in place while we verify that the issues are resolved. Most/All credit balances are now corrected. If you had a legitimate credit balance over 10000 that was wiped during this incident, post in this thread and we will get it fixed as soon as we can. This is a very small number of people, and we believe we have identified most of them at this point.

Thank you for the support and feedback we have received in the last few days. We are not going away any time soon.

Referral System Ending

Hey everybody,

This is not one of my happier announcements. As many of you may have noticed in the last day, a big red sign[gyazo.com] has appeared when logging into the site.

This is actually the 2nd time this has occurred. We switched domains last time to work around it, but the bottom line is that Steam is blocking the site due to members spamming their referral links all over Steam.

After speaking with Steam support, it was requested that we remove the referral program to lift the big red banner blocking the site. We do not have an alternative to this, and are adhering to this request.

If you are using your link on YouTube, referral links may still be requested by posting in the Steam Group. Youtube videos currently with links will not be affected by this. Thank you everyone for your understanding.

Affiliate Credits and Site Inventory

Hey everyone! I hope the start of your year is going great.

I want to talk openly a bit in this post, because ever since we launched this site, I feel more and more like I'm running a support desk instead of the fun project that started this.

This project has been daily and non-stop since the site launch in October. Our Steam group has grown from just over 4000, to 30,000 people, with over 200,000 users on the website. It is already larger than I ever imagined it could be. With this however, the quality of service has been something difficult to maintain through the growth. Currently during peak hours, we have more users than the site can reliably handle. While we are working around the clock to improve this and make the website better, The growth has been accelerating, not slowing down. We have too many people currently, and we need more time to improve the website.

By popular demand, we recently put in affiliate offers to earn credits. While I personally do not like this, it provides a service that a large amount of people want and use. It also provides a small amount of income to offset some of the costs of the affiliate program and allows us to lower fees on trading, which is the main purpose of this site.

We have two main priorities right now:

1. Improving the website issues like lag and trade delays during the peak hours of the day.

2. Building site inventory to allow more high-priced guns on the site.

Currently, new users are not given referral links to earn credits by sharing the website, as we have no need for more users. However, we would like to continue offering rewards for those who have already shared their link for the website and put time into making Youtube videos for it. Instead of eliminating the affiliate program completely, starting on the 20th, referral bonuses will be reduced by 50%. This will allow us to continue offering the affiliate service to the 180,000 users already using it to earn credits without continuing to hinder the site's growth.

Though we may open this offer to new users in the future, we need to focus on inventory and site reliability before we continue to expand.

I appreciate the continued support we've received from so many people. This was not a quick or easy decision, but we believe it to be the best course of action for the community and the website. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

We're back and running! There's still more to improve, but trades should be functioning normal again.

As of December 9th due to Steam escrow limitations, we cannot trade with people who do not have Mobile Authentication enabled for 7 days, and Confirmation of Trades turned on unless they meet the minimum deposit. Currently this is 500 credits. We will adjust based on the need for trade space on the bots.

This deposit minimum is only for people whose trades enter a Trade Hold
