Just found a way to fix things with Sonic CD not launching, heres the solution: Go to microsoft.com and install the latest version of directx, doing that should help meet Sonic Cd's software requirements, if you need more information, here is a link to help explain things, hope this helps

pooiyx, yes, this one is in widescreen, has the sonic 2 spindash and physics, you can choose between the two soundtracks, can play as tails, and has online time attack. Maybe some other things too.

I bought it. But It' very buggy. At once you encounter an resolution glich on sega logo & start up animation. Do not trust store's page requirement. At least dual core processor is required.
