about that patch, I notice it made things a bit more sluggish,.... I seem to lag a bit more...although unfortunately I dont have much time for gaming these days but still.

Hi, I'm quite new to PS2 but i'd like to join the outfit if possible, i got teamspeak. I just wanna play the game with a group of people, seems like a lot more fun than joining random squads :). My character name is "TheGrandC".

The Teamspeak server has a new password: youdidntfailvanu
Note that you do not need a password as long as you are in a server group higher than "guest".

Thanks for all the advice folks, I'm in the outfit now. Will be getting teamspeak set up later. I'm up for a bit of training on Saturday evenings after work, but I'm not looking for a really hardcore sim experience. I'd just like to consistently be part of communicative squads that know how to bark orders from time to time. Perhaps lead one myself, once I get better at the game.

It doesn't matter at all, whether you're playing it through Steam or not. Actually, you can start the Steam version without Steam or add the non-Steam version to Steam and have the same features :)

Other than this Steam group and the in-game stuff, we also use Teamspeak. You might want to check out the forum (or Discussions, as it's called here) for details.

Hi there, I'm keen to join an outfit and this seemed like the friendliest one on the server. I haven't really any experience of game groups or 'guilds' but I know how to behave with a mic on my head. One thing though, I don't actually play the game through Steam, I had to install it seperately, will this be a problem? Do you use the Steam community services in game much? If I'm welcome, my character name is "teucht3r".

I'm gonna be away a few days. Nice thing about using Steam is I can keep in touch with the Steam app. Think I'll work on helping the Outfit to find its feet. I'd like better name for the in game squad leader rank. Also need to change the outfit message of the day (although allot of people don't seem to know where it is in game). Should probably state that we have a TS server now. Of course Nerkul or Valenski could CV change that.
