Crysis 3 Producer Ben Harris responds below:

“One of the earliest established themes with Crysis 3 was becoming "The Hunter". We wanted to create a game mode that let you experience being the hunter or the hunted, while fun for both sides at the same time. During development we went through many iterations of the game mode, exploring all sorts of ideas to make the Hunter game mode what it is today.

We decided to add in the twist that the Nanosuit players are always invisible and move slightly faster than normal to give them the feeling of being formidable, powerful Hunters. To counteract, the CELL Troopers have the advantage in numbers. When you play with a group of your friends, it's pretty tense!

Eventually, we found that the simplest incarnation of Hunter Mode was the most fun for everyone involved, and that is what’s in Crysis 3 today.”
