Hello All :) Glad to see that Foxes is doing this. I had to move where there was no internet and only knew of this project as an idea he was talking to me about some time ago. From the little bit I was told, it sounded fantastic. Does anyone know if there is a working alpha of it yet? I would love to see what has been accomplished. Also good to see that it now has a name.

If only someone had a good computer or server hardware. I could easely remake the old permissions. Heck, I have the 1.7 Permissions file on my PC.

I am playing on my 13" Macbook Pro (Intel i7 2.9 Ghz Ivy Bridge, 8GB Ram, Intel 4000 Graphics.) I get about 60 fps on Minecraft most of the time. So OS and fps shouldn't be a problem for me. Also, I would also like a 3rd Person view. Maybe even a RTS type overhead view. Also, are you aiming for a release date? I am extremely exxcited for the game's release.

Actually, I've been wondering... According to your explanation, Buildocracy will be in First Person. But what if you can switch to 3rd person when in your city/fighting for better management/troop control? It would be like, if there's no building or unit of you, you can't go 3rd person. If there are two (You and another unit/building), you can. What do you think?

I think it will be... Maybe the Alpha versions will be restricted to one OS, but I'm pretty sure the full game will be for all. 'least, that's what I think. No idea what Foxes' plans are.

You could be on Steam, and not use the Workshop for the mods, but the system you have in mind. I am sure Valve will allow that.
