As a treat I’m going to retell “the prophecy” of just how the gaming night started and how it has changed.

It all started back in Year 8 2006, where Adam ‘adam2035’ Myers, Jake ‘v-man’ Crawford, Aaron ‘blk.snowman09’ Zegarra and James ‘Natr’ Salakas would engage in a hootenanny night chock-a-block full of Warcraft 3’s Battle.net. These nights consisted of a phone (yes PHONE) call, Channel 123, p0ckets, Footmen Frenzy, Orcs vs Humans, Green TD, Battleships and last but not least “gimme gold”.

Fast forward to early 2007, after seeing how Jake and Myself played hl2dm and hearing of our epic tales, Adam Myers and Aaron Zegarra joined us and we found the delighting wonders of Steam Chat and the ability to make Steam Groups as we did a mini dilemma evolved, What do we call our Steam Group name?. After the group compiled a list that went into triple digits Aaron created the group known as “Get in the VAN we got candy”, James knowing that this was probably the gayest group name ever created the epicness that we all know today as “BRICK-ROLLED” and we 4 continued our mission of playing HL2DM and WC3 every end of school term.

It stayed the four of us until one very Columbian and very epic man joined in early 2008 where we had our 5th and awesome member. [Quick flash back to October 9 2007 where the Oranje Box was released and with it, Team Fortress 2.] During term the first of Year 10 2008 some rumblings happened about just how good TF2 was and how everyone should buy it. Being the amazing people they are Jake, Adam and Aaron all complied and we had our 3rd game for the gaming night however the 5th member Camilo spoke of certain struggles his computer had with said game TF2, so swiftly the courageous leader Jaysis acted with SWIFT VENGEANCE and declared the 4th game Counter Strike: Source.
While these gaming nights happened word got out two particular individuals already at SSHS and one who would later move in from Canberra had no idea that they were about to become beholders of the immortal title as a Member of BrickRolled.

As previously mentioned 3 new members would arise in the fateful year of 2009 the first Mark “HaTo_HeRo” Ault would be sworn in due to a mere chance conversation where he overheard James talking to the group about Left 4 Dead (a group favourite, but due to numbers not a gaming night favourite) Mark instantly recognised the game and began talking about it aswell, this went on to form a kinship between James and Mark and would recognise Mark as the 6th member of BrickRolled.

2nd term 2009 heralded upon the dawn of the mighty warrior, the one everyone would know initially as Adem “prozaxxx” Caldarevic and later as Poopie “Jesus Man” McTitface as he weathered the storm of having a complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ computer to become the 7th member of Brick Rolled. Adem will forever be remembered as that guy who had the hilariously affected microphone. He and the rest would participate in the “1st Annual Thank GOD it’s over Gaming Night” whilst it was certainly not the 1st it was certainly the 1st ever recognised by an announcement.

Later that year Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 would bring the 8th and FINAL member of Brick Rolled, the most vital member Samuel “Blondie” Warriner he would first participate in the 3rd annual where he blew us away with his sexual voice and really REALLY blonde hair (srsly).

AND NOW as time passed through 2010 we saw the first year since 2007 where no new member was actually introduced to BrickRolled. 2 annuals were held and XFire became a regularity for voice chat due to the fact that it seriously rapes steams voice chat quality. We remember the best of times and we herald the end of an era as the LAST EVER THANK GOD ITS OVER GAMING NIGHT COMMENCES ON FRIDAY THE 24th OF SEPTEMBER 2010. BE THERE OR GET BASHED.
