Hey guys, I came here cuz I'm also sick of Ubisoft and everything they do. They removed AC Brotherhood from my Ubisoft Connect Library cuz I left this negative review:

Valhalla's not coming to steam? I join this boycott till that changes. I feel strongly that we as a community need to crush this whole exclusive platform business real hard. All I can do is vote with the wallet and hope thousands of gamers agree.

After seing the trailer of AC Valhalla I became "mentally disturbed" and decided to go here:winter2019sadgingerbread:

Refuse to support Ubisoft and their buggy Uplay DRM... Remember Uplay means you pay but can't play.... Refuse to be a victim... Support their more consumer friendly competitors who happen to have much better games.. You can expect me to check back in from time to time. I don't care how long it takes My BOYCOTT still in effect. And for me its less to do with making a point and more to do with NOT ALLOWING myself to be a victim.. I've got better stuff to do then debug their cr*p software. I WILL NOT pay top dollar for these games only to have to continually jump thru hoops and technical support just trying to get the games I paid for to work... They should work right out of the box.. UBISOFT - you really really need to either FIX YOUR BUGGY DRM system or REMOVE IT entirely. Until you do - COUNT on 0 more sells to this consumer. Your competitors have already reaped the reward.

Ubisoft has downgraded their graphics so much we cant even trust them, Far Cry 3 was my favorite Ubisoft game no doubt but since they downgraded their graphics you shouldn't buy thier products or what ever they put out. I feel they should be sincre about their work and be honest i might be start a penition to stop Ubisoft from lying way to much, I hope Ubisoft sees this Penition and learn from their past mistakes that it's not okay to lie.

refund before its to late
_MeeGee_ 8 Mar, 2016 @ 1:34pm
by the way can you update the intro text? because I am boycotting ubisoft for their buggy poor releases and consistent deception and vandalism of good ideas and concepts into unplayable overhyped trash... the micro transactions thing is just the icing, as well as the graphics. The main thing is ruining good gaming concepts by forcing early release then hyping a half made piece of ♥♥♥♥ to a premium price tag
_MeeGee_ 8 Mar, 2016 @ 1:31pm
have been carefully considering rainbow 6 siege as my new go to shooter as it does sound awesome, just can't bring myself to buy it it's so overpriced and already split into overpriced DLC. Then read the reviews for farcry primal, and the division, and anno 2550, and what can I say? Just boycott that ♥♥♥♥♥.
ec.gamer.us 1 Jan, 2016 @ 5:45pm
Wanted to give everybody an update... Bought 6 more PC games since my last comments here. Went out of my way to make sure that Ubisoft had nothing to do with any of the games I purchased since I'm going out of my way to make sure I avoid their buggy software like the plague. I see no point in giving them any more of my money and taking the chance that said titles refuse to run because of their defective DRM, buggy software, and horrible business practices. Not worth the hassle. Just plan on doing periodic updates here letting Ubisoft who I'm sure read this from time to time - understand the boycott is STILL in effect and COSTING them sales. I'll sit back buy much better games from their competitors and let others who are less well informed get the Ubisoft treatment with the broken Uplay system in the Anno series and Assassins Creed games. As more and more people experience this first hand for themselves the boycott will only grow.
ec.gamer.us 16 Aug, 2015 @ 7:04pm
For those new here that don't what is wrong with Ubisoft products go see all the videos on youtube where people can't get their games to play because of constant Uplay crashes or because of general buggy software. A lot of this has to do with Ubisofts insistence on using buggy DRM that outright crashes on startup or fails because requires a constant internet connection to their buggy servers which are often down.. Search youtube for "Ubisoft DRM", "Uplay", "Ubisoft crash", "Ubisoft boycott", "Ubisoft connection". You'll see dozens of videos right off the bat.. And you'll see those launcher crashes I was talking about where the software fails right off the bat. You'll also hear testimonials from customers where Ubisoft thinks its perfectly normal for people to have to be on Ubisoft technical support for 30+ hours to try to get their buggy game to work. And note that many of these customers still could not get it to work with no explanation from Ubisoft.
ec.gamer.us 16 Aug, 2015 @ 6:23pm
Hey everybody... For those unfortunate enough to buy Ubisoft software that never works - you'll most likely be going thru the Steam refund process.. One thing you need to know that had me confused is how the refunds appear on your credit card. If your refund is issued very near the purchase date many credit cards will just remove that entire entry for you purchase from your statement. I was expecting to see a separate refund/credit entry on my statement and couldn't see one for 6 weeks. That's because the refund simply reversed the purchase as if it never happened.. So if you worried you didn't get your refund go back and see if the original purchase was removed from your statement. I don't often return stuff so this was a learning experience for me. Despite what I was thinking 30 minutes ago - valve/steam made good.

UPLAY and the rest of their DRM madness deserves nothing less than nothing. "Uplay = Nopay":power:
ec.gamer.us 4 Jul, 2015 @ 11:30pm
Remembering how angry I was last night about my last bad Ubisoft experience I popped back in here for a moment to re-read what I wrote when it hit me. I've thought of a new slogan to be added to our UBIsoft pushback campaign. Here it is:

. Ubisoft's "UPlay" - "U pay but U can't play"

History repeats itself. Let's boycott these jerks so hard that they are forced to relearn the hard lessons taught from the "video game crash of 1983". Because they've earned it. Ubisoft needs to learn they can't continue to dump out completely untested overpriced garbage out into the market and then expect gamers to continue to buy it unconditionally. Their actions now are so anti-consumer, hostile and unpalatable - I for one prefer to keep my money in my pocket.
ec.gamer.us 4 Jul, 2015 @ 3:41am
Uplay my arse. Who are they kidding? If they were honest it would be called: "U Can't Play".
ec.gamer.us 3 Jul, 2015 @ 11:56pm
Update as of 5 mins ago.. Looks like steam is trying to do the honorable thing and refund my money... Thank you very much steam.. On the other hand. Re Ubisoft.. I can't take the chance of buying anymore Ubisoft products since their Uplay launcher simply does not work.. My boycott of Ubisoft's entire product line is still in effect.
ec.gamer.us 3 Jul, 2015 @ 11:43pm
I made the mistake of buying Anno 2070. Piece of garbage never even loaded once. Couldn't make it past the constant Uplay launcher crashes. Went online and found out tons of other people are having the same problem but none of the proposed solutions worked. I can see that this has been known problem with Ubisoft products for well over a year. Go into the reviews on Anno and you'll see over a 1/3rd of those who purchased the game were just like me - never even able to get the game to come up once. Feel completely ripped off. Now I read its because of all of their DRM garbage that has been injected into their most recent games. Be forewarned anything with Uplay in it or Ubisoft label on the box - AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. I have never ever seen such a bloated, buggy, and consumer hostile piece of software my entire life. UBisoft - you are now officially on my s**t list. No more money from me.
Abiogenesis_Gaming 2 Jul, 2015 @ 10:57am
I wanted so badly to purchase Anno 2070 while it is sale this weekend. Instead I posted a message to Ubisoft's Faceanus page letting them know that they lost yet another sale due to their awful DRM practices.

Well just made the mistake of buying a ubisoft game now i see what all the fuss is about this uplay is crap wont be buying anything else by them thats for sure
origamer 17 Dec, 2014 @ 2:11pm
Ubisoft and Yves Guillemot are arrogant haters. They have a bad habit of dropping unoptimized, buggy and broken ports, sometimes with game breaking DRM to the PC community.
"Ubisoft CEO claims 95% of PC gamers are pirates"... If even the CEO is hostile toward PC gamers, then i cannot see how they will ever be on our side.
I have not bought a Ubisoft game since FC2, and i am proud of it. If they continue to demoralize the PC platform, perhaps in the future it will be 100% of PC gamers pirate Ubisoft games.
You reap what you sow Ubisoft!

I have no issues with Ubisoft. I am happily enjoying their new game The Crew. What you guys should do is boycott against the developers of Ubisoft rather then both the publisher and the developer. The Crew is a fun racing game that eats Need for Speed any time of the day.

BTW I was invited by one of my friends and I accepted it only to type this out.
Mr Keefy 18 Nov, 2014 @ 6:52am
Oh and they removed all their new games from Steam in the UK for some reason.
Mr Keefy 18 Nov, 2014 @ 6:51am
Not bought a Ubisoft game since 2012 when Splinter cell conviction was on sale for very cheap, £3.75 cheap. Having both Steam and Uplay in order to get the game to load up was the last straw, 2sets of DRM is taking the piss. its as if Steam is just a way for them to save bandwidth and therefore money.
Crawder 12 Nov, 2014 @ 7:18am

I'm glad I joined, Ubisoft can really stop just pointing the good deals at console gamers and start pointing them at PC because I am sick and tired of seeing things getting sold at such high prices and deals only bring them down by 4 - 5 dollars, jesus christ!!! I'm not going to spend $50+ on a PC game!!! f***ing hell!:yinyang:
