hey! Good news! spasman made an update that did this!

"Levels: You can now earn XP on custom maps, mutators and with bots without restriction.
- Gold Tickets: Gold tickets are now found when the match ends (matches must be longer then 6 min). The longer the match, the more the chance increases. "

So yes! now you can play on custom maps to gain XP

and yes you can have bots!

and apperently you can get golden tickets at the ends of rounds now

i dont know if this counts for custom maps because custom surival maps dont have golden ticket drops. but this is some nice news!
