Ernie and me already started with the translation of the names of the missions and
our next step is to implement and test the file #name.lng in the rus-beta. We have
not seen where the test plates that show up in the loading screen and at the end of
the missions are located yet. At the moment only Ernie has access to the Beta because
during the reinstallemnt of the game caused by the latest update I lost my
Beta access.

I would like to team up with Masterofthemultiverses and help you with the german localization of the russian beta. We allready checked the files and they seem to be a doable job for us to translate them from english to german language.

An by they way in the Russian Campaign, germans were called "Jerrys" in the english beta Translation, is there an special russian word how germans were called during World War I like Fritz or something like this? Might work better for the atmosphere in the Russian Campaign.

Hi thanks, but for me since I have reinstalled because of the update I dont have the option to choose beta again sadly. About translation: I will talk to Evil_Ernie and we check those files we might be able to help with german translation yes. From english into german though we have a look at Steam\steamapps\common\Battle of Empires 1914-1918\packages\boe1914-basic\.en.pak than but I need to get in touch with Evil_Ernie first than I call you back asap :-)

we began the process of translation into German. Interface and the texts from French campaigns are in the works now. We need a translation the texts from the Russian empire campaign.

I just wanted to say that I don't think that it is a good idea to change the older system which like 90% of the community is familiar with.

boe1914-sample - it is exsample for new mod

Why was the "mods" folder removed and replaced by "packages" ? Don't see any benefit in changing that. I mean everybody knew how to install mods before - how should changing it help? Or is it just something within the beta?
