Does the LAN Party achievement for playing with 3 friends only count playing online with people on your friends list? Or a total of 4 people on one server?

So, I would just like to say this game looks freakin awesome! As soon as I have the money I'm getting it. If there is any way I can help contribute to this game, or do testing other than what is released please let me know. I did some play testing for Hammerwatch and helped find several bugs leading to a solid game. Lemme know!
