1880; Queen Victoria has been in mourning for Prince Albert for nearly twenty years, however from her sorrow England has transformed into the greatest power in the known world as The British Empire.

The County of Lancashire has fully embraced the spirit of industry. Manchester is alight with mills and factories, Liverpool is one of the world's largest shipyards, and was the shining jewel in Queen Victoria's Imperial Crown. However in the dark of night creeps the various creatures from the night.

They prey upon the weak, ambitous, and vain. They seek to only feed their inner hungers and spread themselves. The only thing that is able to keep them in check is Her Majesty's Most Devoted Order of St. George.

Lancaster police HQ burned to the ground!

Following the night of the Masquerade, the regional HQ for the Lancashire Police force in Lancaster has burned to the ground.
Five officers were wounded when escaping the burning building, while another is believed dead inside all of the rubble.

The Police Force has not commented on the issue, however it is currently suspected that an electrical fault in either the evidence room or the record hall, was the cause of the fire.
