Bad news by the way, ModDB removed my ad & page because valve complained !!!, because it is a total game conversion we were not staying true to the Left 4 Dead 2 game, so valve had it taken down }o( bad valve !

Just got garry's mod for 1.49 ! sales gotta love em ;o), and noticed you can use it with L4D2 - should make adding props a whole lot easier XD

Well for the finding a designer you could always put an "Ad" at yahoo answers. Someone might wanna do somethign liek this or help. Or maybe go on forums and things?

Got two books here on the beginners guide to level design and How to create a map, both are PDFs and very simple to understand, I've installed the Steam SDK's and L4D2 Authoring Tools and Played with the Hammer Level Design Tools but to be honest they are too confusing for me, looks like you need to be a whizz at 3D design and to be honest i need something a lot more simple lol so for now i am looking for a map designer still ;o)
Best plan i think as to be honest i have absolutely no experience with this, i have installed Garry's Mod (none Steam) for a look at prog to see if it can help us.

I don't knopw anything about game modding or anything but that sounds like a sick idea :D IT sounds like an amazing campaign that I would deff wanna play. ^^

Just found this mod on ModDB and thought this is what we need to start our own BR3 Campaign: http://www.moddb.com/mods/the-undead-zone
it's an Island Map but has the intro start as we need, wonder if the Creator would let us spruce it up a bit ??? could ask permission if any 1 else is any good at game modding, no anime skins yet but could still get the japanese uniform ? maybe

So here's the Idea, we create a Left 4 Dead 2 Scenario, all zombies will be skinned as Japanese school Kids, the Survivors x 4 will we re-skinned as Japanese school Kids with new face skins, the setting will of course be an Island and all weapons improvised etc. will be found around the map, for a L4D2 Campaign we are looking at 5 maps at least and each map should have a minimum of 100 Zombies scattered through it, remember we have to kill all to leave the island as victors, there is already a boat for L4D2 so that will make it good for getting away from the island.
So at the start 4 survivors are dropped into first map by helicopter, last level they leave by boat. ModDB is a great site for skins etc, but their are a load of options out their.
Who fancies making a L4D2 Campaign called "Battle Royal III" lol
oh and I am Cr@p at this stuff, never done it before ;o)

Yeah, that would be cool. You could try this site for a bunch of PC mods. :)

Yeah. Yesterday I actually had in my mind how the whole game would play out. Like from gameplay to characters and multiplayer. Kinda suck thats I can't make it cos in my mind it looked epic. :L

would like to see a game from these BR1/2 shows lol, give CoD series a run for their money, FPS but only improvised weapon's ;o) cool
