New CS:Source (v34) Server & Goldsrc updates ! - 14 April 2025

Greetings, BaseCrew!

We have made an update fixing an important issue regarding unwanted servercrashes, as well as minor improvements. But most importantly, a new CS:Source (v34) server has been opened to accomodate with the popularity of our servers!

Counter-Strike: Source (v34)

FFA Server

- Opened a server at deimos.baseq.fr:20027 !
- Maplist is in progress, but there's already a nice little selection of maps appreciated by the community.

PUG Server

- Server is now at deimos.baseq.fr:20027 !
- Match is automatically cancelled if either team have no more players or if not enough players are within the game
- Team Captain will be changed whether their previous captain changed teams or disconnected
- Auto-switching teams is now automatic, no need to select your skin
- Players who switched teams (by randomized selections or by half-timings) also have their skin randomly changed
- New team selection algorithm
- Many bug fixes were done.

GoldSRC - General

- Fixed a performance issue and a very rare crash, regarding the VIPs.
- Added the !bug command to send a link to report bugs & suggestions.

Adrenaline Gamer

- Added justwar2 to the maplist.

HL1 & Opposing Force

- During happy hours, players now spawn with 30 armor.

Counter-Strike 1.6

These functions are in beta, might not be immediately effective.
- Fire in the Hole messages now indicate which grenade you threw
- Assist messages should also be displayed.

Good evening, BaseCrew!

We have made updates to our servers, mainly for the PUG and the CSDM ones.

Counter-Strike 1.6

PUG/Automix Servers

- Updated MatchBOT.
- Rebalanced the amount of players required for the`.vote` menu.
- Fixed a rare bug occured with gamemode voting.

CSDeathmatch

- The server has moved from a TDM environment to a Free For All one!
- Dumbed the CSDM bots down, as they were still giving too much of a challenge for a Deathmatch training server.
