How can we get new maps ??

I wanna play ranked games on new maps - even some of the stock standard ones... why is automatch so limited... @Diamond - just needs new blood and good community to get it back ! And of course novel maps and new commanders and new special units. Otherwise it gets stale...despite the endless variations possible with this COH2 Engine and game fluidity

Additionally if there are any modders or mappers or otherwise in here, you might know that the textures within Battlezone Comabat Commander now use a PBR style format. Software to modify /create the textures can be bit pricey. I have found, BUT Have NOT tried..........

oh i got bz2, patching is a pain, well not really. its just that gamespy is basically dead so i dont know if i can find anyone to play with.

Hey guys im pretty new to the battlezone series, I got battlezone 2 all set and need people to play it with, if you got it hit me up.

Also, I would appeciate some pointers on where to install battlezone 1 and what to install, patches, mods, etc that people still play?

It's pretty busy for a game of its age, always a few games up. Weekends and evenings EST see the most activity.

wow this is unreal, i played this game YEARS ago when i was still in grade school. i looked it up today on a whim. theres so many things i didnt know about this game, and theres still a community. this is really exciting. cant wait to feel the nostalgia explode in my chest

I was wondering whether the admin and other Battlezone players mind me and my friends when we use the Teamspeak server for things other than Battlezone. I am/were a Battlezone player myself as is one of my friends Total x Avenger however we do not regularly play Battlezone as much anymore. We are using the Teamspeak for things like Dayz and L4D2 and sometimes other games like BF3. If you would like us to stop using the Battlezone Teamspeak for things other than Battlezone we will happily comply.
