Further Information on Background Checks

The primary focus of our officers and moderators should be the safety and well-being of our members as well as the fair and discreet enforcement of our group's policies. Apparently, recent breaches in our group's security have threatened both of those focuses because of the careless handling of officer and moderator priveleges. Two times within the same week, our base and its contents have been salvaged. The possessions which were lost can easily be recovered or replaced and the same can be said about the structures and barricades which were also lost. However, the threat of this happening in the future still looms ominously, and unless the policies of our group are upheld in the manner which they are meant to be, then the group will not be able to function as well as it ought to. These background checks for new incoming members or returning members are but one of these processes which must receive greater attention to detail, yet rightly so they are one of the most important. These salvaging incidents would not have ever been possible if we paid more attention to the background checks we carry out. A standard BC should iclude a THOROUGH review of every item listed below:

- VAC/Steam bans or previous group-kicks from AUDC
- Membership or affiliation w/ other groups, past and present
- Profile comments
- Account age and activity (to avoid inviting inactive/alternate accounts)
- Maturity and military comprehension

Also, keep in mind that all BCs must be run by me personally. This is to ensure that every new member gets a fair review of ALL listed items. If I notice certain items missing, then the review will be declined and the presenting officer will have 72 hours to get the rest of the items to me. If I do not receive all of the items that are to be reviewed, then the incomplete background check will be wiped and the presenting officer will be subject to counselling. If ANY incident occurs in which an individual is invited into the group WITHOUT due process or executive order from the Arch-Directorate of the Union, then the transgressor (as well as the wrongfully invited member) will be Group-Blacklisted and discharged from the group. Group-Blacklisted individuals are not to be invited into the group under ANY circumstances. The blacklist will be posted in the description on the group profile and updated IMMEDIATELY following a Blacklist Infraction.

You guys know what to look for in future group members and what to avoid. Don't re-invite people that are kicked by an officer without going through this process. Chances are, they were kicked out for a reason, and if you do a background check correctly then it WILL show why. Having hostile players running around with our equipment on a server with a peaceful community will only reflect badly on us. I like to enjoy my games as much as you all do, but damn it I would prefer to have people in the group that I can trust... Whether ther are new recruits, or the officers which bring them in.

This goes out to all group members. we are having tards that join are group and are takeing things and two times now salvageing one of are main base. This has made us kick on of are standing officers from the group. THIS IS NOW A MAIN ORDER TO CHEAK ANYONE WHO YOU ARE INVITING.
