Axius Revival: Downtime

Hey guys,

As we told you all during the server build, it was our hope that a stable build of sponge or spigot would be coming to minecraft 1.8 around October or November, but so far we've been left pretty empty handed. That being said, the spawn is fairly close to completion. I believe our last objectives include a few spare plots, the castle, and the walls, but you've all done an amazing job on quick building and matching theme.

I'm going to be saving the server files with the coming billing cycle (Nov 18) and allowing the server to shut down. Its unfortunate, but its a little hard for me to pick up the slack on the bills this month, and I can't find a reason to leave the server up while we still have outdated software and no players. This is also going to close our current mumble, but we still have a backup mumble run by Epic which anyone is free to join (I'll provide the IP/Port on steam and here around that time).

Thank you all so much for your time and your builds, please don't think that its all for nothing. We'll hopefully be back as soon as sponge is back.

Here's a quick little render of where we left off on spawn for anyone who hasn't been on recently. As Knight stated above, main points we still need to hit are the castle and surrounding plots, walls, and mage district. Hopefully once we find a way to get the server running for 1.8 we can knock those out of the way and launch ASAP. See y'all then!

Axius Minecraft: Start Date

Hi guys,

Just wanted to go ahead and update you all on the status of the server. It is currently up and running 1.8 vanilla with no work being done on it currently. Not gonna release the IP quite yet, knowing that anybody could potentially log on and screw up the seed.

I know its a bit of a delay, but as I have a pretty busy weekend with work and I'm pretty sure I'm responsible for a good chunk of spawn planning, we will be waiting until some point early next week to begin.

I'll put out a few scrap paint layouts on both Steam and the site so we can get a good idea of where we want it to go.

Axius Minecraft Announcement

Axius Minecraft is coming back to a theater near you!

While I can't disclose too much at the moment, I can say that this was a pretty sudden decision and we don't really know a lot about what we're doing quite yet. However, the staff is very excited to be back in the saddle!

I'll try to get everything we have planned out by Friday, but it should be known that we are going to be accepting both spawn-building help and Regulator applications as the ball starts rolling.

An event should be scheduled on Steam soon for discussion and planning, and any of you are free to hop onto mumble to help us out.
