You need to bind the +zoom command to that key. Type this in console and it'll work correctly: bind z +zoom

Why won't Z work for me in zombie survival?

You can try navigating to your username/garrysmod/garrysmod folder and rename it to for example garrysmod_old. The next time you start up GMod after doing this, it will create a new garrysmod folder like the first time you loaded the game. You must however download all the content again on the servers you've been on, but it may fix it. If it doesn't, you can delete the new garrysmod folder and rename garrysmod_old back to garrysmod. :)

im sry to ask something as stupid as this but i did something wrong when i was adding the zombie survival mode, on half of the maps the majority of the map is that odd purple checker board thing and half of the items are that ot just error on them im not sure if this is normal or not but any help would be appreciated

anything new will do, however as long as it's balanced and not op rooms such as gate walls. or maybe gate walls that zombies can attack through..

i personally think, you guys should produce more maps. i've played for an hour today and played every map.. it gets boring after a while!
