I want to put together a No dino arena on the Server Island Mafia (IM) is looking to create a zone with your help also.. that will be used for the arena. Want to know if anyone else would be interested.....let us know. We can have different types of games i.e. pistols only rifles only free for all..we can do 2v2 3v3 4v4...... again this would be a NO DINO battles..

I agree, this will help keep people from having their bases destroyed so much.

Buildings are way to easy to damage. This setting should be adjusted.

We apologize for the server status as of now. We had some technical issues. The server is up and running at this time but it does not populate on server lists. Once the dedi admin logs on they will have it fixed. Thanks

Couldn't be happier to hear this.

Have been waiting for this server to launch for a couple of weeks now. I hopped in TeamSpeak Friday and was told it would be ready in two days tops. Will the server launch today? I'd really like to play this game with you dudes.

difficulty is at 4, max dino level is 120

Can I know what difficulty is the server on? Also, what is the max lvl of wild dinos and how much can you level them? I kinda hate high lvls atm so just wanna ask first.

Happy to join on whatever settings, however just remember that if it is set too high (which could be even as high as 4 times) it's going to make proggression extremely easy, there are many easy ways to gather resources/lvls and even tame faster, on vanilla settings, just got to do a bit of clever research

Current server changes:

Gathering x3
Tame x2
Resource Replenish x1.5
Day set a bit longer with a shorter night cycle (since so few like the darkness)

The server is currently live, we are just messing around on it. Once we hold the vote and set up the rules, the server will be wiped to ensure everyoen starts on equal footing.

My tribe of 6 members are wondering how soon the servers will be put up. We have tried out several servers today but it seems this is the only one that fits our needs.

*Cik We do have an ARK section on our clan site. It is toward the bottom under the gaming section. As of right now you need a forum profile to see it. This can be changed.

Thanks for all the input so far. As we have discussed with some, once we get all our settings in and everyone is in basic agreement we will have a D-Day on the server where everything is wiped clean so everyone starts out at the same point.

Feel free to invite anyone who is looking for a well maintained server and fair modderators for freindly PvP and PvE experience. As I have put in our mission statement we want this to be a community run PvP server.

Id be interested in joining, though dont see a forum section for Ark on your clan site yet. I'd suggest 4x gather and experience, 8x tame, and 1.5 engram points.

I vote for a significant increase in taming speed. I have been to numerous servers with a variety of rates and I honestly feel that staring at a progression bar for any more than 3 hours isn't considered playing the game, especially in a PvP focused server where anyone could ruin your taming process. On the other hand, as with most unofficial servers, if griefing is dealt with, then there is usually no problem just waiting the tame times.

To compensate for this, maybe increase difficulty on wild dinos significantly while decreasing damage dealt on tamed pets.

Considering the PvP nature and focus of the server, I'd vote for a 20% harvest buff. This allows for greater PvP focus.
