@TheGamerOfLegend - yeah sorry I didnt get a notification about the other messages. I can download a game file from earlier in the week. Removed all of the mods because I thought everyone was off already. Need your email so I can send the file.

@xxGBHxx - Haven't gotten any responses to my comments on the Valhalla server coming down and request for a game save. Went into Valhalla today and saw all/most of the mods were gone...I moved as many dinos as I could to the obelisk without having the dragon to carry heavier ones. I saw on your Black Locust page that you're planning to pull everything tomorrow (Sat). Could you please send some kind of response or comment so I know if I can get a game file or if my base/builds/etc. are lost? I don't have any other way to message you but this. Just let me know - Thanks

Pulled Joan's Pet Companion Mod. Sorry for the inconvenience, but it has had 4 updates this week and I am not a fan of taking the server down.

Servers are down atm while we update some mods and apply the new game update that came out - v227.0 (finally).. Taking a bit longer than expected, but should be up in the next 15 mins or so.

Quick Update on Ark Town Server - I brought the gathering back down to 5X's. Most people have caught back up to where they were and it was quite a bit much for many tastes..

Would it be possible to allow more engrams per lvl?

8 people played today on Valhalla throughout the day with zero crashes with the exception of Pops who still cannot log in, but his issue is unrelated to the issues we had yesterday before removing the mods which have fixed everyone elses problems. Sorry it did not work for you. Good luck with your new server search.

I've had several crashes since the latest patch 223 I think all where because of the Valhalla map objects bugging out.
every error message I read after a crash was calling out Valhalla map pieces.
I guess i'll look for a new server then if I have to start over from scratch.

@ELWHAPPO Did not you were having issues. No one other than Pops has had an issue since we removed the plant and dragon mods. If you are having an issue this is news to me. The issue Pops has been having resulted from him losing connection in a wacked out area of the map and being stuck until they update the mod. All other issues were fixed as far as we know.

As for turning on the dino transfer on the standard map, I will not be taking the server down for that. In all likelihood the issue with Valhalla should be taken care of within the next day or so when they put out their next update and I have no plans to take down Ark Town before the next update from Ark. That server is a stable server and we rarely take it down. Sorry for the inconvenience with Valhalla.

I checked the planting mod workshop and a lot of other servers are having problems with it crashing the server and there clients also.

For anyone having trouble logging in to Valhalla, there was a castle mod update that needs to be put on and that will resolve the issue. I will be updating it today at around 4:45p.m. EST. Sorry for the inconvenience.

lol - Giga is slightly OP. at lvl 80 it took down a lvl 115 alpha rex without breaking a sweat... (and gained allmost 40 level in the prosses)

apparently a fiber optic cable broke yesterday in that area and on top of that it was somewhere under water. they seem to have fixed it rather quickly though.

Server seems to be having some sort of issue on the Host side because I cannot see the server in Ark and I also cannot access our admin control panel. Waiting to hear back from them now. Sorry for the outage guys. First time I have seen the host go down.

@Eladrion I will scout around and do some sneaking of my own into those new players to see what they have.. If they get caught red-handed - well....

well, there is a new guy near my base but i talked to him and i am resenably sure it wasn´t him. i saw noones else but he said there was some spanish (or at least that is what he thought) guy online earlier.
i patched all potential holes in my wall now, set all the dinos to aggessiv (if that helps anything at all ;-)) and locked all doors and boxes.

still i am, well lets say, not happy about that. most of my blueprints are gone, pretty much all the equipment i had stored (inluding a Dan Inject Rifle), all of the narcotics (i was stockpiling in preparation of for a Quetzal), some colours (but not all of them) and some ressources (Chitin mostly) and even all of the fertilizer. i guess i was kind of lucky that he didn´t take the gasoline i need for the generator.

@Eladrion Did we have anyone new on the server that you saw? If you see anyone new near you or find out who it was please let me know and they will be banned. There are not many forms of harassment available to people, but that will not be tolerated.

one big thanks to whoever took all my stuff (at least all the really valuable things) and dregged me out of my base. since we are supposed to keep it kid friendly i sadly can not tell you what i think about that but i guess you get the message anyway.

If your client automatically updates and the server hasn't updated yet, sometimes you can't Log in until we update it. This is an option in Steam that can be changed.

@_NightRaid - You are in a hotspot for alphas. You need to move out to the ocean coast and build a pen for them. Leaving them out in the open is dangerous, especially so close to woods/rivers/mtns.

Anyone know a good alpha protection it seems while I was offline a alpha carno spawned and killed all my dinos except my dilos and it killed me and I wanna make a defence about them.

@_NightRaid I try to only do mods which offer something we cannot really do in-game because having more mods means more downtime for each update that happens. Since we have bug spray in the game and since people are generally only really a low level for a day tops, I do not see it as a good enough mod to put on. But definitely keep requesting mods.

I didnt see any discussion to suggest mods but I would like to suggest the neutral bug mod it makes it so the ants and dragonflys are set to neutral unless attacked unlike normally where they attack on site. This will help newer players out since the bugs kill them a good bit.

@Rangeria, not really but we are really respectful of everyone and how they want to play. we all chip and help one another with various things and so we just ask that if you take, that you also give :)

another hour later, another update (what are they doing?), still no joy. ping looks pretty normal, i see someone online on the server and the official server seem to work.
i am guessing the problem is somewhere on my end, any idea what it could be?
