what do I need to download to give this app a try? I am hosting a private server and would love the ease of this app to help me remove some dino spawns

EDIT: Seeker can not be scanned as the others creatures, there is no Seeker file ( Pteroteuthis_Char_BP) on vanilla Ark. Sorry.

seems that I miss a quote on the INI entries, a obviously quote, will fix it tomorrow, meanwhile, add manually the quote.


i.e.

("Megalosaurus_Character_BP_C))) should be ("Megalosaurus_Character_BP_C")))

Now that we have mods that adds Aby creatures, I advice first install one of those mods, then use this app to control them.

@zedxrgal, I haven't tested aby creatures on others maps. BUT on my discord someone wrote that he/she did it. You can ask for advice on steam forums and compare the string vs what ACM is trying to do. If you found any differences or issues, I will be happy to fix it.

Again, can't comment as I don't use aby creatures on another maps, but someone else did it using ACM.

@Zaphod4th Having an issue I think. Trying to replace vanilla dinos with their aberrant variants on the Crystal Isles mod map. Placing at the bottom of .ini in game user settings. Removes creature completely. NPCReplacements=(FromClassName="Dodo_Character_BP_C",ToClassName="Dodo_Character_BP_Aberrant_C")
Is there something I am missing?

ACM says its found ~ 2150 creatures in my mods. Annukai,Core,Enteral, Fear,Gaia etc etc. But then is Insects+ the only Mod ? Needs some Help, we want create a Crazy Custom Dino & Building Server^^

I'm getting some errors when I import these INI settings into my Game.INI. I get warnings about Invalid Property value in defaults, and one missing open parenthesis, even though I copy/pasted EXACTLY what was in the ini window. Any ideas?

@Arktisk, First, this app does nothing about tame speeds, it only allows you to add more creatures to your Ark.
Second, I don't know, and I haven't tried adding Aby creatures to any other map. But I know that it's possible using this app. Good luck !

Just wondering but I use the ark server manager to help with tames speeds and what not. How will this play with that? I am not sure if the two can be used at the same time but the ark server manager wont spawn abberant dinos on the island with out codes in the game ini.

I've been playing on Ragnarok in single player and I've been trying to add aberration spawns at the same time as removing spawns on the map.

I've had luck with removing spawns but any spawns that I want replaced with aberration spawns don't spawn anything at all.

I'm hoping you can help me with this and see if it's something still on my end.

Should work with the new abberration map, as this app scans your CONTENT folder for ANY creature.

This is NOT a mod. This is a stand alone application that works outside Ark. It helps you to modify your INI files to add more creatures.

But can you change flyers on what they can pick up (ex like Wyrm should be able pickup as bigger dinos then Quetz can pickup? ( The SE Wyrm do have seem have bigger wings I think they should be able pickup T-Rex or smaller IMO)

@sparcmx, yes, and if any new map/mod adds new spawn region, you can add those spawn settings and add more creatures. Right now I'm playing with the most popular creatures mod, all mixed. As you may guess, it's an harder and challenging experience !

Just to clarify, your generating ini files that allow mod creatures to spawn naturally from vanilla spawn regions. And the ability to add your own custom spawn regions? This is very cool indeed.
