I dont know why you came to FME, but i bought it because i love the original Front Mission games. So i'm a little sad to discover that finally, after nearly 17 years the FM legacy is about to end. According to http://frontmission.info/blog/?page_id=355 even the last FM related manga series is going to end this year with one final volume. Please check the above page about the FM-series in general, lots of great information there. I'm really glad that i had the chance to play FME, because of the great people i met. Thank you for this.

the lag has atleast made some matches full of noobs pretty hard, were all lagging so bad its about even, unless theyre spamming missiles.

Yes , I have fought him four times. He uses a speed hack , and only a speed hack.
He was using dual rockets , assault rifles , Giza torso , Zyper quad legs , and I belive grille6 arms. He did run out of power , however powerless AND legless he outran both my Zenith and Tiran. However he is rather skilless and is downed rather quickly by a pair of corrosive Juris.

I think the lag problem is a "one day on, next day off" problem.
Strange thing is, the servers are in California, so bottom line there RAW, it is not you who have lag, it's everyone else.
Solution:
Bring the killer Chihuahua, knock on their door, and say:
"Fix this lag problem, or I'll let my dog jump up and bite you in your knee"
Problem solved.
You must be more soloution orientated.
If this don't work, your Chihuahua is useless, and you may bring it to me, and II'll introduce it to my excellent BBQ.

Yesterday me and Blackie was teamed up against two greens.
Sometimes it can be a hard choice what to do, how to behave.

We took care of one each. My noob was a double piz and darkhogs. He was very generous with his missiles. Lock symbol on my screen was just about permanent.
Yes we are cool to noobs, but a spammer should be treated as the spammer he is, no matter the rank. No mercy.

The other noob was serviced by Blackie.
We ease down our weapon usage to give lower ranked player a fair chance. Well, Blackie had one handgun only.
Could one give any player a better chance in a fight?

Besides, FME players enter a fighting arena, to fight.
Even if we won the fight, we was good Archies.
We are fighters, not babysitters.

As you might have noticed, I have done some "kicking".
From time to time, I take a look at some members who appear not to play FME any longer.
This is just for cleaning up.

They who have an open profile, I tell them this, and welcome them back at any time.

I check their game stat, and see when they last played FME, and how many total hours they have in this game.
Some have only played FME for a couple of hours, several months ago.
One of them was also banned (kick reason alone in my book)

If anyone wish to discuss these actions further, please let me hear.

Today I got a couple of presents ( LOL, Orange birthday today^^)

I have said things about being Arch before. It's hard and unfortuneatly rather lonely.
Often I think about Archers out there, I even compare you with
US-Marshall's^^ or lone rangers, out there, alone, doing a job for the sake of good.

As for me, believe me when I say I visit FME whenever I can.
My rocking chair blew up while target practicing the other day.
My backyard is full of weapons and ammo, so I cannot park there.
No retirement for me.

As time pass, I intend to upgrade my status from
"Oldie" to "Living Legend"^^

I think it's because people know us, and are safe to be treated right.

I tell you Archies, many gamers out there watch over us, and respect us. Heavy Japanese "Top Gun's" watch us, and our movements. They respect our way, and how we maintain our philosophy. BIG compliment.

It's not how many kills you get, it's how you get your kills.

We are the official "Good Guy's" of FME. Many rely on us, even if it doesn't seem like it.
Spammers seem to dominate, but only seems.
Many of them wants to be a "Good Guy", but haven't got the balls to take the stand, and make the sacrifice.
We are the glue that keeps this world from anarchy.

If the spammers get to rule, the world of FME will die.

Heavy responsibility, but Arch soldiers are strong enough to carry.

So, Archers, bottom line. You are doing a great job, and you make me proud of being an Arch.

Today I had good fights, and bad fights. Just like all of us. Then I hooked up with one of our guy's, RAWDEAL.
We had some really memorable times. I our fight, I even went out of ammo, TWICE. That i don't do often lol.
Raw isn't a guy who suck up to people. He speaks his mind, I know.
He said something that stuck.
"What a great break off to fight with you"
He wasn't flattering me in personal, he met an Arch.
We probably both set some record in the amount of rounds fired in those matches.
When I game, people all over the place invite me to do private matches. Today I had 5 invites pending at the most.
I don't think it's because of my good looks. Not because I'm challenging either.

Sagittarius is the astrological sign of the Archer, the one who turned himself to half man, half horse.
He uses the bow and arrow, an Archer.
Sometimes i feel we deserve to remind ourselves who, why, and what we are.
I have had the privilege to game some a couple of days. I read the game, and analyze what I see, and what is said.

Often we ask ourself: Why am I following the Arch rules?
There are spammers all over the place. All have more weapons than me.
Why should I, when no one else do?

Even I ask those questions.

Note to all of "Arch" I have officially renamed myself to "DemonHunter999," there is an explanation on my profile page. I like the band by the name "demon hunter" and I like the idea of fighting evil, so it sounded cool to me. Also 999, is 666 upside down, which supposedly means it is Christ's number, wheras 666 is generally considered the devil's number. I felt i wanted to have a more generic name, instead of naming myself directly after the charcter "zero" as in my previous name. This is more of "my" name i can claim as my own.

I want someone to join me in Last Stand. I am always open for it if anyone wants to join me , just message.

forgot: u can start a private last stand server alone, so feel free to use it to practice and experiment with different loadouts.

hey zero, the closest thing to multiplayer you can play alone is "last stand" imo. when the waves get fiercer (and the omega wanzers appear) the pressure mounts, and because its all vs 1 u have to use skill to fight ur way through. i used this mode to train for fme mp.

I've been playing FME story mode on Hard mode, and I'm a little dissapointed. Yes, I still die on it here and there, given my skill level, but not as much as I should. As I told Nino the other day I do better on this game when there is less pressure, in other words i am more adept at story mode than multiplayer. I was on the level where you first fight on foot, and I took two full shotgun shots without dodging them, and i didn't die! Unfortunately in the story mode, a lot of levels allow you to stand relatively still while doing some slight dodging, and still win. Am i the only one who wishes there was an even harder setting? I want a difficulty setting that will help me get better for multiplayer, not worse lol. I had an idea the other day. What if there was some sort of artificial intelligence portion of this game that could "watch" your opponents in multiplayer? Then when you are offline could mimic their fighting style so that you could learn to better fight them.
