Bruce Geryk, renowned wargamer also did some excellent reading pieces in his game diaries on War in the East when it was originally released by Matrix. These are highly detailed interest pieces where he weaves the game and history together. Also worth a long slow read... the collection are in parts and they should follow on to each other linked at the end.
