The Team

Some people thought Absolute was dead, well they're wrong. From the ashes has emerged a new light, with forth new ideas, people, motives, structure and unity.

So for those old and new, welcome (back) to AbsoluteGamers! There are a few changes in place since we last we're about, some you can see for yourself like our new website and theme plus new servers that shall be launched in days to come. Though some things you may not be able to see at the moment like our new team.

Myself, Duncan and Verpain (Predator, aka the Scottish one) are the remaining leadership (so far) from the old community, yet we have 2 new-ish Administrators onto the field. First of all we have Abducahi otherwise known as Niall, some of the older members may remember him as TasteForWords, he will be in management of the Minecraft server as he is a guru at it and also will be helping me pay and maintain the dedicated server as he has been for the past few months we've had it. Secondly we have Ovibag who'm I've known for many years, he will be organizing Admins and be over watching moderation of the forums/TS.

...but thats all for now, as we've got work to do, expect more information and announcements in the next few days.

With regret, we wish to inform you that we have taken the decision to close AbsoluteGamers. We are closing AbsoluteGamers for a couple of reasons, but the main problem stems from inactivity and lack of commitment in general.

Many of our members are losing interest in Garry's Mod and Minecraft, and it is difficult to expand into other games with such a low member count.

Many of the servers will be shut down, but we plan to keep Teamspeak, MineCraft, and a Garry's Mod server up. Most of the team behind AbsoluteGamers plan to move onto AbsoluteHosting, and this will be our primary focus from now.

All of the team wish to thank those who donated time and money to AbsoluteGamers, especially when we were having financial troubles... For that we are very grateful.
