you ignore it. valve will not contact you through steam ever. the site they will send will most likely be a phishing site in an attempt to hack your account if you give them any information it is best to change your account information immedietly.

Do not listen to this person. he is sending a phishing site if you have told him anything change your passwords immedietly, he is a hacker. if he sends you a chat request ignore him.
