I´ll soved the problem. But another question....do you have any idea were the value is toggle the close encounters on and off? In the ini you got a option to set it (like toggle the hud). I search for weaks for it, did found it yet. I only can disabel it but this couses random crashes.

Thanks, youll get used to the recoil with time. I even feel there should be more recoil :-)

The aliens are very fast, fine, but absolutely unacceptable part about the mod is that there is the recoil, the weapon's recoil is WAY too heavy and therefore there is no fun playing it. Please fix it.

The original is around 30mb and the decompressed on is like 80.

Really?!? UE Explorer told me the pecanGame is compressed. All other files are decompressed. Nevermind

Yes. This was the problem. I didn´t use your ini files.

For some reason I can´t decrompress your peacanGame.upk. Can you send me somehow your decompressed version of it on a pm? I would like to add my mods into it, like toggle the closeencounters on/off and some other stuff.

It´s strange that the dinohead value is in the pecanGame.upk. I always thought it is in the sunflower files. I really hate to mod this game, the engine and other values are so messed up after all these updates from gearbox.

The reason xenospeed will reset is because either you forgot to replace the .ini files, or you didnt save them as "Read Only". I will still check it out in the files though if theres something wrong,

Sorry...those bugs were my wrong!!! Everything is working great expect the PR Sound....

I´ll found a way to play it alone. Call it SP Edition... ;-)


To give the game the normal speed and allow the quicktime events on a closeencounter, don´t install this file:

--- DEFGEN_UnlocksVersus_SF.upk ---

With the original file, you can play it alone, without dying on every corner. ;-) And you don´t get stocked on quicktime events in the campaigne.

BTW:

You can mix this mod with other mods. I´ll mixed this mod with no merchs and wellding mods for Bug Hunt. Works great!

Ohhh....when you die one time in the campaigne, the xenos are on normal speed after respwan on the last checkpoint. You have to restart the level to keep up the speed. :steamfacepalm:

Hmm...ok. How long you worked on it? I´ll use the same tools as well. And I hate it to mod this way! But it is the only way so far. The PK HD SDK works only with some files, not with all. You can edit textures and sound with it. But you can´t save it to the right format. So yes, it´s useless...

But I found some "bugs" in your mod...

- I can still kick the Lurkers away on a close encounter

- There is no diffrent sound on the PR. (or I didn´t notice)

- Dinoheads are still there on Bug Hunt and the merchs got random frezzes.

I´ll used a clean installation of ACM for your mod.

It´s kinda fun when you play on co-op. Unfortunately it is really hard to find a teammate to play on steam. My budies and me play over Hamachi on a virtual LAN, we don´t like the host system of steam.

We still mixing your mod with our own, making the xenos a bit slower or change out the merchs with lurkers on bug hunt (and add welding).

Cilitbeng: 90% of the time I used UE explorer and maybe 10% of the time Hex workshop. I tried the PainkillerHD SDK, but didnt work for these files.

=SiriuS=: If you are playing with a joystick, this would be impossible. However, I designed it to play with a team, and use teamwork to win.

I agree Cilitbeng...Xenos are too fast to shoot them...Completing 30 waves is a "Mission Impossible" in Bug Hunt mode.Can you make Xenos slower?
The recoil of weapons is still not true enough.

Ok...I played it with a friend and without the 360 controller. This was awesome!!! But you´re right, alone, you got no change to handel it.

BTW:

Wich tools you´re using to edit and save the upk files? You found a easy way or is it all made by Hex editing? If yes, well done!!! Respekt to you if you did it with a Hex Edit tool!!!

Im glad you liked it thanks! Well the mod is designed to play with a team. Me and Xenon played it alot and its very interesting, but also doable. It requires alot of skill to win now :).

I hope in the future this group will have alot players so we can invite each others and play the mod together.

Nice, nice, nice!!! You fixed some gameplay bugs, great work. But the Aliens way tooooo fast, my friend! lol

The recoil is great! It gives me a new reason to play the campaigne from start to end. But I die every single minute, even on recruit... O-o

The second mission is impossible to handel with the wy merchs. One hit...death.... respawn....death....respawn...death...usw. lol
