After 6 years, 253 days, and 2 hours on "Active Duty"

it is with a heavy heart I close this chapter of my steam career. In the almost 7 years of duty, we saw great progress, peaking at almost 130 members, a Gmod Server, and Discord Server. Thank you to all of you whether you joined us from day one or joined us in more recent times, its been a good run.

Ronald Lee Ermy 1944-2018

Today Gunnery Sergeant R. Lee Ermy passed away from pneumonia, you may know him from his various roles in TV and Movies, he Played Gunnery Sergeant Hartman in Full Metal Jacket (1987), The Texas Chainsaw Massacre as Sheriff Hoyd (2003), he voiced Sarge for the Toy Story Movies (1995, 1999, 2010), and General Tsin in Kung Fu Panda (2012).
He also served 11 years in the United States Marine Corps. in the Vietnam War, where he was awarded The Meritorious Unit Commendation, Good Conduct Metal with 2 bronze stars, National Defense Service Metal, Armed Forces Expiditionary Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 1 silver star, Marine Corps Drill Instructor Ribbon, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Palm, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal with 1960- Device, Rifle Marksman Badge and a Pistol Sharpshooter badge.

Today marks 3 years since The 702nd Legion was founded.

I would like to thank all loyal members for sticking around. I also would like to start actually doing stuff but due to school, life, and having a group that is probably spead across all timezones, it's hard to cordinate a time most people can get on.

So heres to 3 years of The Legion!

New Year, New Stuff, Same Routine

Hello 702nd Legion members,

It's just about 2 weeks into 2018, and I just wanted to say thank you to anyone who has stayed with us, I would like to say thank you for your loyalty to my Legion. On March 10th this year it will be our 3rd Year anniversary of being us, I would like to also say thank you to the people who helped this group get to it's current membership. I will also be announcing that this group will now be shifting focus from Star Wars, and sci-fi to more realistic genres and games, primarily Arma 3.

Arma 3 Server Details:

Open to public but password protected, password will be 702
Discord will be used for communication
There will be a mod pack
Sandbox will be primary game mode but we will play missions
Standard issue uniforms will be made
Formations
Standard Training

Server hours:
Monday: 5:30 PM - 9:00 PM US Eastern Time
Tuesday: 5:30 PM - 9:00 PM US Eastern Time
Wednesday: 5:30 PM - 9:00 PM US Eastern Time
Thursday: 5:30 PM - 9:30 PM US Eastern Time
Friday: 5:00 PM - 10:30 PM US Eastern Time
Saturday: 10:00 AM - 10:30 PM US Eastern Time
Sunday: 9:30 AM - 9:00 PM US Eastern Time

Server will be closed on major holidays (New Years, Chirstmas, ect.)
