Re: Scheduling Changes

Greetings Soldiers,

As of this time, we will be rescheduling our Official Game nights to every Saturday @ 5:00 PM EST. I understand this might be an issue for some of you and I do apologize for that. We have made our decision based on everyone's available time and current time zones/locations. Furthermore, I will be instituting a new rule for our members. If you leave in the middle of a current game without at least notifying your SL/Company Command, your activity will NOT count within the Activity Tracker and you will not gain activity for that game.

Also, we will still be doing our random games during the week for those that wish to do so. I will also count it as activity if a Official Comapny Command member is attending. (Squad Leaders, Commanding Officer/Execuitive Officer)

Good Afternoon Soldiers,

Just a quick overview and notice of all of our recent promotions with yesterday. I will be going over who all was promoted and a few announcements as well.

UnbornRegret has been promoted to Sergeant
Gimpylegs has been promoted to Corporal
Rowynn has been promoted to Specialist
Riptide has been promoted to Private First Class
BiscuitJoe has been promoted to Private First Class

With these promotions, Bravo Squad has been opened up with the new influx of members and UnbornRegret has been placed in as Squad Leader with Gimpylegs as his Assistant. Hopefully we can continue to recruit new members into the 5th Mechanized and continue to fill Bravo Squad with active members.

Good Afternoon Soldiers,

Just a quick overview and notice of all of our recent promotions with yesterday. I will be going over who all was promoted and announcing my new second in command for the 5th Mechanized.

Shark will be assuming the role of my new Second in Command of the 5th Mechanized. As such she will essentially act as myself and will assist me in administration and oversee the Squads along side myself. She, as well as the rest of the Command Staff and NCOs, are meant to set an example of excellence and professionalism to not only this Clan but to the Gaming Community as a whole. Our professionalism and willingness to work together as a team is what will show the Gaming Community in Squad that we are a great clan to be apart of and will make them want to join us.

Shark will also be assisting me with recruiting members to the 5th Mechanized, however, everyone here has the power to invite people to the clan. You may not have the actual permissions to do so administratively, but you can be actively looking for members for the 5th Mechanized so we can further our playerbase and even open up new squads so we can expand outward and have a larger presence in servers when we go in. I would like everyone to please be on the lookout for decent members that you would think could be a great addition to the 5th Mechanized Infantry. If you have a friend or think you have found someone that could be beneficial to the clan, please make sure to notify a Non-Commissioned Officer (Sergeant+) or a member of Command to invite them to the clan.

Furthermore, with this announcement, I will also be instrumenting a new Activity Tracker that will track how many games a member has participated in with the clan, how many trainings, and the last time they participated with the Clan as a whole in events. I encourage everyone to remain active and if you should ever need help with a role or just simply want to play a couple games on your off time (Not on a official game), just feel free to post in General chat if anyone would like to play. Just because we're not doing a game doesn't mean we can't all interact with one another.

Re: Role Assignments

Evening, Soldiers.

As some of you have already seen, A roster has been made for members of the 5th Mechanized Infantry. I would like everyone to post their desired primary and secondary roles within their assigned squads. Obviously not everyone will be able to get the role they want but I at least wanna touch base as to what role everyone wants to have in Squad Events. Furthermore, next time we do a Squad Event, please make sure you remain within your primary role, If we need a different role, Squad Leaders will assign you to said role instead of your primary. We will be sure to keep you within your primary/secondary roles if possible as to not force someone into a role they do not know how to completely play.

Please also make sure to act due to your role in the Squad. If you are a medic, please do not run up into the front lines of combat. Hang back a bit and allow the riflemen to take the front so we do not lose our medics. If you're Anti-Tank or Automatic Rifleman, please make sure you are in a decent positon to support your squad.

With the recent influx of new players to the 5th, I have decided that now would be a good time to set up a game and allow everyone to meet and get to know eachother in the 5th MI. We are a team and we need to get to know eachother a lot better and learn to work together in order to succeed in our tactics. I encourage everyone to meet up in Discord prior to 8:00 PM Eastern so we can all meet up and then find a server we can all join and play together and carry our team to Victory! For the 5th!
