Hello all! Just wanted to give an update that the 5th RB will be moving into Days of War upon it's release here in a month. Days of War (www.drivenarts.com) is an upscaled version of some of the old school WWII FPS such as DOD and COD. Looking forward to growing the unit there and becoming an active unit within it's realism community. We are still using our www.5thrb.us website at the moment. However, we are having a professional website designed and built. It's an honor to be able to lead this unit and carry on it's legacy. Insurgency: Day of Infamy

It's been awhile since my last update and what's been going about in the 5th Rangers. The 5th Rangers have officially moved other into another mod of Insurgency called "Day of Infamy". Brand new Insurgency world war 2 mod that I foresee huge gain and potential in this addicting game.

The strategy is a lot different then from most FPS's in that the tactics of playing the game itself doesn't work great in run n gun scenerios. Instead, Day of Infamy (DOI) requires communication and teamwork amongst your side or squad. There are a lot more realistic environment effects, sounds, and such in the game simulating real world live action on the battlefield.

The are several game modes that play out differently on each map. It's a lot of fun and I encourage people to try the mod.

Now that I have your attention, my name is, Mr. White and I am the Chief Engineer of the 5th RB unit. I also a level designer mostly for hl1 dod 1.3. I'm looking to put together a team of technicians that specialize in technical aspects or are interested in becoming Combat Engineers.
