Hey ya'll Bam here! Some of you know that last fall I had set up a discord server for us!

I got a hold of Ignitor and he's on board with bringing the community back! I know a lot has changed since we all last played TF2 years ago, many moved on to other games and such, but we're all in eachothers friends lists and still in this steam group for a reason, we enjoyed playing together and miss that feeling!

Hey guys! Bam here! So it's been a LONG time since most of us have talked, and even longer since we've probably played games like TF2 with each other.

I had been mulling the idea of a revival, and after talking it over with a few 5E alumni I decided to start up a discord server for us! I know it'll be a slow start since we've been out of touch, but I miss a lot of ya'll and maybe we can revive the community to the glory days of TF2 and BF shenanigans!

Anyways, with Frozen Goat's help, I'm posting this announcement to our community group page with a link to the Discord. It's a little bare at the moment so if anyone else has some experience with Discord let me know!

Update Released - Servers Updated

Updates have been released and the servers have been updated.

Updates to Team Fortress 2 are now available.

- Increased the base damage for the Scout's Sun-on-a-Stick, and changed it to always mini-crit against burning targets if the attack is not already critical.
- Fixed burning deaths to always use the death notice icon for the weapon that started the burn.
- Updated the RIFT pre-order items to be not-tradable until the RIFT pre-order period is over.
- Updated the burn effect from the Pyro's Sharpened Volcano Fragment to only last for a limited time on enemies.
- Updated the description of the Well Spun Hat claim code item.

Web Server Emergency Maintenance

Currently our webserver is undergoing emergency maintenance. As of right now Engineers at the data center have replaced a faulty drive but are still experiencing problems. That server hosted our DNS services so none of the services that use DNS are currently resolving to hosts (Vent/Chi1/Chi2/Chi3 Hosts). :-/

As of right now i have no ETA on a resolution.
