but on the positive we all now know what we're doing as we've allready been through this horrible love affair that involved way to much galvanising. but we love it

the new hamachi is orginally named "42nd 2nd network" and the password ... just incase someone repremands me for revealing it on the internet (who honestly cares) ... must be with drawn out of my dieing lungs

so ... we can all sleep a little more comfortably

however the most important thing to take from this is to only turn on hamachi when we are using it

otherwise suicide is the only option

in a rather claustrophobic situation we find that hamachi is full. this is partially due to people with multiple accounts or ones they can nolonger access. Therefore in the short term we shall set up a duplicate network but this time without mistakes. It is called

42ndNetwork

and the password : 123qwe

in the long term we shall have to setup seperate networks for seperate games (and hope that 17 people don't want to play at the same time)

AboveUltimate has bought a dedicated server for minecraft!

The old map is being used so you will spawn at wherever you last were on, with your inventory as it was. I've added as many of you as I can remember to the buildlist. However, if you havent been added, ask Ewoek, NikoLopez or aujamie for build privileges.
Lockette has been added along with some other mods.

Enjoy a less laggy minecraft experience!

note: 2 spare pcs- 1 high end, one mid end. However bring own keyboard + mouse if possible as one mouse does not have a middle mouse button and keyboard has no number pad

The event will be open from 2PM on Friday and people can stay right up till 6PM on Saturday.

Bring your wallet! We may go out to the cinema and will probably be going out to eat. ALSO do help out by BRINGING SNACKS and/or drinks (maybe energy drinks to help you get through the night)

While we plan to do an all nighter, there will be space for you to have a powernap while the PCs are still setup (max has very large room) So bring a sleeping bag unless you think that you can last 24 hours.

Ok, so word on the street lately is that some of us are unhappy with the hosting provided by AboveUltimate. For example, the TeamSpeak server seems to be getting rather full lately.

So, I postulate an idea: How about we purchase our own dedicated server? From this box we will be able to host all of our game servers and have full control over all of them. Ping shouldn't be a problem either, seeing as it would be hosted in the UK. Plus you can be sure the server is always up, because if it isn't, you can put it back up yourself. :D

The cost per month would be about £60, However, if we all band together then the cost each would drop considerably.

Do post comments and feedback on this idea, and whether you would be willing to help pay for it.

Aboveultimate are now hosting Teamfortress 2 in the UK!

This means no more laggy melee fights.
I am an administrator, so expect to type 'nom' if we're doing an event.

Do try and use it to help establish a user base, as empty servers don't fill themselves.

Over the coming week i will be looking at adding rtv and some other plugins to customise the server and make it stand out.
