DayZ MilSim Unit!

MilSim Unit Day Z - Special Warfare Operators
Requirements:

Age 17+
Teamspeak 3
English Speaking

MilSim Unit for DayZ Only! MilSim/Military experience is prefered to create fluid, progressive and workable communications. Map reading, leadership skills and a desire to learn are also a great asset.

You will learn teamwork, communication skills (voice procedures), target identification, combat and team application. A vary of different movement styles and contact reactions. Have the ability to contact the enemy, watch the enemy and defeat the enemy.

We will be conducting Ops most nights and will work in teams of 4 - 5 people, joint operations may vary. Your tasks will be civilian protection, Intel gathering (recon), contacting bandit groups and there assets. Providing server and game stability. Giving new and old players the security to explore without bandit issues. You will have ROE's and will NOT be allowed to bandit or steel from friendly/civilian players. However you may take what you need from any enemy or aggresive people.

Kit

Equipment will vary per Op however standard loadout will be similar for all, M4, 5.56 Ammunition, Side arm either Colt 45 or the FNX. UK Assault vest Olive/Woodland. Olive,Woodland, Flaktarn or basic chest and pants. Boonie or Olive helmet depending on Op. Hunters backpack.

Backpack Contents - To vary on updates, NVGs etc will become requirements for certain Ops when released.

Operations

Teamspeak 3 must be prepped, Equipment and sufficiant supplies. You look after your own administration in your spare time, Ops everything must be prepared. Team Leaders, and NCO's will set the route and check points on Map. You will have time before the Ops to look at the map and get use to the ground and terrian you will be covering. Some Ops may take up to 3 hours or more so leave plenty of time. Lz and Extract (Login/Log off) positions will also be marked.

Ops will consist of something different each time, we will look for populated servers with high counts of bandit groups, we will observe, intercept and contact the enemy. Some Ops maybe none contacts, recon. Some may have a high contact count. All vary. If you do not wish for this type of gameplay then this isn't for you.

We will also do team equipment runs.

Unit Situation

Gents,

I'd just like to make you aware the unit hasn't shut down or anything of the sort, I've officially put the unit on R&R until after the summer. Summer time is the perfect time to spend time with your family and loved ones, and I'd rather not be inside or tied down during this period of time. So, enjoy the sun shine! and fresh air! and I'll see you all in September!

In regards to the Tournament, applications for clans/units begins in September, so don't worry.

Apologies for the slowness of things, it's the summer at the moment, a lot of friends and family have been back and forth, it would be rude to say "my unit needs me" things should quiet down soon.

Since the You Generation competition I have been extremely busy with various agencies so I'm not able to fully be here, however this WILL NOT affect the unit, and I hope you stick around.

Lads,

I'd firstly like to apologize for the lack of communication over the last few days, a lot has been going on (IRL) and obviously that is a priority, I appreciate you all being patient. Secondly, I'm still trying to get hold of Rec. Jarrett in regards to the finished rifle range so recruits can begin their Phase II, I would however appreciate it if recruits didn't constantly ask when their Phase II is going to be over, part of the concept of joining this unit is you will be tested on whether you want to be here or not, 2 recruits have already been discharged because they couldn't handle the regime's. Just BE PATIENT!

I would like to get everyone in the server tonight for some classic games, apparently the game mode is dying out, and I've been in touch with the TW team via twitter who in all fairness are trying to push some new features.

Be on TS tonight at 19:00 for a quick brief.

My Journey to the RMC Begins

Hello Lads!

This is my good bye for now, I tomorrow will be starting my real life training in 3 Commando Brigade Royal Marines. Its fair to say I am nerves and shitting my pants, but also very excited. Your a great bunch of players and even better friends. Stick together, be a familly and hold strong. Your by far the finest unit I have served under. I will be continueing to serve but I will be on duty most of the time, especially for the next 32 weeks. Maj. Bates is one of the best leaders in game, he will win you tournements and lead you strong. But he needs you guys to stick by him to. There are a lot of operations coming your way so remember lads! Train Hard! Fight Easy!.

Don't forget tomorrow! be on the server at 19:15 ready to begin playing at 19:30. I would appreciate it if as many of you come onto the server as possible, I want to refresh recruitment, and get the server re-populated. There has been many complaints that Classic mode is dying out, hence why there's a huge struggle to populate a server, I say bull shit to that, let's get things revived!

I want a big push on recruitment on the server tommorrow evening, I've been laxadaisy in getting people onto the server recently due to a promising career change, but then again I shouldn't have to hold your hands onto our own server.
