We will be testing our newest 3MAR map today at 1300 EST.

Members of this group will be notified by steam chat what the password is at that time. If you are not contacted by accident or forgetfulness, please contact a 3rd Marine in the server for the password.

We will be re-shuffling our Civilian Administrators from this VIP group (who gets it and what admin levels they have) in two weeks. We are looking to fill 4 slots. 5 at most.

Some current admins will carry over, some will lose it to more active players.


Please be sure to read about Civilian Administrator's rules and guidlines (as well as a tutorial on how to use your admin) if by chance you end up getting selected as getting access.

With our now annual "Sunday Sunday Sunday" Event, we are forced to do the test Saturday as to not interfere with the large gatherings of WW1 Source players in our expected weekly event.

On Saturday, at 1300 EST (1PM EST), please steam message any Marine or recruit in game for the servers password that will be on.

I was hoping to see enough of you on, along with our Marines and Recruits, to Beta Test our newest large scale mapping project; 3MAR_Pachendeale_Reflux. I would be extremly grateful to see 20 of us there to get an adequate and thorough test completed before we realease the map publicly the week after so I can fix any minor errors that still remain or tweak things for gameplay.

The test will take appx 1.5 hours.




Pachendeale_Reflux promises to be the PREMIRE map of WW1 Source until 2.0 releases. Containing the most hihly detailed city and realistic trench systems to date, PR (short name for it) will encompase the best of two worlds by offering not just vastly upgraded graphics and level design, but also a new "helper" function to allow admins to change from skirmish, realism and city defense game modes quickly and easily with the click of a button after the script is initiated. Althgough thefunction will not be able to stop ramboers running off towards the enemy before live is called, but it will keep them out of places they are not supposed to be.

Another interesting addition will be the use of mounted artillery. PR will intorudusce large scale bombardments from several cannon firing at once via a radio. Each barrage has a cool down period so be sure to time your artillery strikes wisely to devestating effect.

And finally, if this is not enough, PR is littered with more artillery holes than a Dalmation has dots. As requested.
