I'm reviving mine with new hardware. I've redesigned some of the internal shrouds, but I was wondering whether Valve had shared the model files for them? It would save me countless hours of work.

I hope that Steam OS 3 comes out soon as an ISO so we can use it on the Steam machines, I put Pop OS on it a while ago but I kinda want to go back to Steam OS again.

Speaking of the deck, did any of you peeps get one? How about the Index? I love seeing how refined some of the technology we helped beta test has now become.

My Steam Machine is still going strong, about to update windows 7 to windows 10. Hold my steam controller!

Mine is still working. I did add an SSD, dualbooted windows 10, and use the OG 1TB Hybrid as storage. My desktop is an i9-9900K with 64GB, a 2080TI, Liquid Cooling, and 20TB of storage, so the steam machine feels underpowered at this point; but it has aged rather well. I'm tempted to put a 4th gen i7 into it as an upgrades. As far as the GPU, I wonder if there is any way to upgrade it. If anyone else has done it let me know! Its had a place under my 55" 120hz 4K TV in the living room for quite sometime now. I love the steam controller, I also use a Roccat Sova lapboard for keyboard and mouse on the couch. I still have the original crate, I often take this machine and place it on top of the crate. I even took it to Intel Lanfest in Colorado a few times. I had a little Gabe Newell shrine joke. It had a little glowing fountain, a picture of Gabe, ram sticks, and a de-lidded hard drive. Got lots of laughs, hugs, and comments every LAN I took the steam machine and Shrine to.

I still use mine. I kept it in the crate most of the time. It is more of a trophy/showpiece.

Does anyone still use theirs? My original SSD died so I just put in a new one, and it seems to be playing games better. Just wondering how everyone's boxes are doing? Any one sell theirs?

I'm having the same problem DBones. Looks like the controller layout has changed, it still works but like you said, it is now going to be more difficult to play with a beta controller.

So it looks like they removed support for the beta Steam controller. I can't even access the old controller menu, and it seems like the buttons are all screwy as well. Sad day. Playing games from my couch just got a lot more difficult.

The video card died in my machine. Where can I get help with that?

So, since Valve wants us to make bug reports, where can we do that? I found one for SteamOS, but the beta website takes me to a Atlassian log in when you click on "Make a Report".
