2nd Reaction Force Battalion is in the works again!

Me, Doctor and KeyBind are currently in discussion on how to form this all this time around. So far, we've hit it off to a great start!

What we'll be offering what people might know;
- Trainings.
- Ranks.
- Unmodded public server.
- The good old feeling of belonging in a real, coordinated unit!

What we'll be offering what people might NOT know;
- A line of missions set in Stratis, Altis and Tanoa in chronological order, with backgrounds, mission briefings and real-time developments based on an operation's outcome.


That's all we've agreed upon for now, but much more is in discussion, and we're busy writing up new lesson plans and missions!

Here are the changes:

-Tweaked random messages to reduce time in between and notify players about pilot rules
-Tweaked in-game names of pilot roles. They now state that only 1 pilot is allowed per active squad
-Added new users to Zeus who do not need to be the #adminLogged to access Zeus
-Tweaked positioning of respawn points, helicopters, and other materials
-Tweaked the items placed around the helicopters
-Added 2 invincible Cheetas for AA near base.
-Tweaked default parameters to include a 10% chance of an enemy helicopter, enables side missions, changed number of vehicles/patrols and increased the amount of soldiers that spawn in buildings. (there is now more of a focus on urban combat AND long ranged combat)
-Restrictions now work properly and can be changed. By default, anyone can use an marksman rifle or HMG but needs to be slotted up as the correct unit to use UAV's and AT weaponry.
-Added notification markers across the map with info on how to join the steam group
-Performance tweaks

-Fixed notifcations about AhoyWorlds Teamspeak. They are now reminders about our rules that pop up ever 1800 seconds.
-Fixed all remaining VAS crates. At this point, Arsenal should only be used because it is faster and more stable, with a better interface.
-Fixed not being able to shoot outside of base
-Fixed not being able to respawn at base
-Anyone can now use Marksman Rifles and HMGs, as long as they have the Marksman DLC.
-respawn_west is now properly placed
-3 indestructable Slammer UPs have been placed near spawn for protection from AI
-Zeus can now see players.

I am VERY pleased to announce that the server was updated today to support the latest version of Invade and Annex by AhoyWorld. A lot of improvements were made and here is the list:

All new tweaks/fixes/features from AW's version 2.85C. Including
-Zeus (Opening up a whole new playstyle...)
-New handling of AO missions, meaning better performance
-Bug Fixes/Performance optimizations

2RFB edits:
-Different vehicles, removed VAS and group management. VAS is replaced by the Arsenal and group management can screw the slot management for a 24/7 server.
-New squads as follows
* 6x8 Man infantry squads Alpha-Foxtrot
* 1x5 man Spec ops squad (Sierra)
* 1x2 man sniper team (Marksman DLC required, code name Seeker)
* 1x7 man helicopter transport squad. 1 pilot per squad
* 1x2 man Attack chopper squad. - 2 active squads required before this role can be filled

Reminder, all Squad lead roles, Spec op/Recon roles, and all Pilot roles REQUIRE a microphone.

-Helicopter pilot restrictions work, now only pilots can fly.
-Custom mission parameters
-Spawn area slightly redesigned
-Added AW logo to loading screen to give credit to the AW team.
