I'm participating in a multi-faction NW Campaign where European provinces are fought over using NW Commander Battles. Each faction has multiple commanders that go to battle together in-game. If you like intense diplomacy and playing in commander battles, you should definitely sign up.

Hey, people. I've mentioned this a couple of times after events in TS. A lot of us 22nd members participate in the Star Wars mod (Bear Force II) every weekend with a regiment called the 501st Legion. Those of you who are Star Wars fans may recognize that as the clone trooper legion that Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader led.

Alright, so we didn't have training last Friday because I forgot to restore our server from the intrusive naval mod back to normal. However, that would have been a futile attempt as the server is no longer active. Lemon had been supporting it for 3 years now out of his own pocket and the card on the account is now expired. He's spent enough money for us so I've decided to start acquire a new server from my NANWL server host and we'll be sharing it with Monty's reg, the 34e (he's the leader).

I have a backup of the server, so no worries, but it will take some time to get it set up. Sorry for the delay with the server. I will try to borrow one from another reg this week to do a training to hold us over until ours is set up. No ETA on that yet!

Hey, guys, something came up and I won't be able to come tonight. It changes little since Billy would have been the one to run you guys through the drills anyway. He'll spend about 15 mins in each section and try to limit it to a 45 min session.

I signed us up for artillery again on Tuesday and will continue to do every week as long as there are people available to man the cannons. If there are any non-artillery members who wish to be trained to use cannons, howitzers and mortars, let me know and Lion or Hayes will set up an artillery training for you.

Hey guys, starting on Tuesday, we'll be returning to the 63e Conquest event since we've had a lack of proper events for the past two months. We'll be attempting to get artillery as well that day, so artillery crew will need to show up for that as well.

Do you want to get promoted? Because that's how you get promoted and actually have to do some work around here. You best be careful.

Maybe if you wouldn't eat, sleep and shower all at the same time in between your studying, you would get some rest. Then maybe you would know what day it is, and not post announcements about the Wednesday linebattle on Tuesday.

Hey--figured I should say something.

Last year in late January, you may remember I was strangely absent for a week. I never mentioned why; but what happened was I had a near suicidal experience and spent about a week in a Phsyc ward. Just about a month ago ish (when I again vanished off the face of the earth) I had a similar experience and have been spending that time trying to get my ♥♥♥♥ together; hence my extended absence. My online presence and future attendance will likely continue to be spotty at best, but I will try to show up and do stuff w/ you guys occasionally.

Unfortunately, there's still no suitable Friday event to go to yet. And unfortunately, it looks like that Thursday Siege event may have been converted into a stupid Line Battle. I will update you again once I find out what's up with that.

RIP the Friday event. It got closed down last night, despite being overflowing with regiments to participate. George didn't have anyone to admin the event.

No event tonight. Doesn't look like it's happening on the 1stRM's end. Have a happy New Year, everyone!

A little reminder for tonight: it's Christmas weekend, so we won't be going to the event tonight. We'll pick up again next Wednesday. Speaking of the Wednesday event, we've had great success in terms of numbers and contributing well to our assigned teams. Great job to all who have been able to attend so far. For others who haven't been able to yet, you're missing out.

RIP rifles

With Farmer's approval, the rifle company has been merged back into the line infantry company. Given last night's success as line infantry and our lack of playing skirmishers anymore, it doesn't make sense to keep it. The Fusilier (Fus) rank has also been renamed to just Veteran (Vet) to better describe the people in that group. To be clear , this doesn't mean we will never play skirmishers again. We can do that whenever we wish to sign up for it, but we need to get the line rolling again first.

Also, tomorrow night there will be no event. I am going to see Rogue One at 6:15PM EST and won't be back until after 9PM. There is a possibility of going to the 50thWK's Monday event, but they are pretty trolly and I'll have to look at how well it runs first.

Note: The Monday Event hasn't existed for a few weeks now, apparently. We only went for artillery since it began, but I went to sign up for line and it's dead now. We're down to just Wednesday and Friday now.

Also, I'm not going to be here on Friday so that complicates things a bit.

I found a suitable replacement for the Wednesday event that died with Kolakhan. It's hosted by Midnight, one of the most fair admins we had in NANWL, and it's going to be a different format than the boring ass ♥♥♥♥ that has become LBs these days. It's back to line battle basics with this new Wednesday event.

We aren't doing an event to account for US Thanksgiving weekend, but if you still want to play, then go to the 1stRM TeamSpeak (104.207.143.41:9995) and poke me.

I keep forgetting to mention that if anyone is wondering where Farmer is, his PC died almost a month ago. If you want to message him on Facebook, contact me.

Also, the 63e got their server ravaged and maps were deleted so the event won't happen today.

Those people who are experiencing issues connecting to TS, something weird is going on with the host. Here's the IP for the server that should work if the usual address does not work: 149.56.107.172:9312

Note: best to make a duplicate of the JANFU bookmark and use this IP in the second one so you have both just in case it happens again in the future and you need the other one.

We've been making good progress toward returning to previous attendance numbers and the events have been fun, but numbers are still weaker than ideal. Please remember that failure to communicate your extended absence after being contacted will result in a demotion. Don't let this happen!

As a note to many of you, Steam's announcement system is broken and doesn't show up for everyone all the time. Yes, our schedule is still the same and you should expect an event on each of those days. Unless there is a comment posted here before the event saying it's cancelled, then assume there is an event; you don't need to ask.

The siege was pretty much a success yesterday. We had a total of 11 people show up and we combined our forces with the 1stRM (totalling 18) to play as skirmishers in both the siege and the line battle portion. Starting next Wednesday, we will register in the event on our own since there is enough interest.

I will be away in Montreal from Friday morning to Monday afternoon. Since I'm gone tomorrow night, I don't know if anyone will be around to organize the reg for the 1stRM linebattle. I'll find out tomorrow afternoon. Also, we will be going to the "That Monday Line battle" event again on Monday evening, so be prepared. I will likely request skirmishers.

I mentioned to the boyos the other day that sieges are available on Wednesday again. If you want to get in on it, you need to be on TS at 7PM EST or message me before 7:30PM EST.

All the best, Louie. You've been a great and loyal member of the artillery for over a year. Your contributions have been significant and your attendance in times of need cannot be understated. The same goes for all the others who have recently left to pursue various interest. MaxBanana (and others) has been with us since October 2013 and joined onto the 22nd within the first couple days of the 44th disband. Tycho we hadn't known long, but integrated instantly, probably due to being Monty's bro, heh.

Attendance was good today. 10 people for line and 7 to run the artillery. This is what we like to see and hope to restart doing skirmishers by next week. Also, sieges might be back on the menu for Wednesdays. Stay tuned.

It's time I say goodbye. I haven't been showing up to events lately because of family and the new college year, and the free time I have only looks like it's getting shorter. It's been a blast guys (heh). Thank you all for the great moments and I hope you all have some more great times.

Well, it is with sadness that I say I am leaving the 22nd. While most of you don't know me, it was still a honor and pleasure to serve. Sadly, school and life beckon me to a different path. Best of luck to you all, and thank you for being awesome people overall. Take care.

Unfortuntely, there are currently no suitable Monday events to replace the 3eme event that was cancelled last week so we will have to wait until a new one pops up that we can go to.
