Microsoft Store Edition of FS2020
I am writing on this Steam Forum as I find it easier to navigate then the Official MS Forum. I hope that this is the right section. So here is my problem.

Last week after playing FS2020 I shut down my Computer Windows 10 (Sleep). The next day when I restarted the machine I was greeted with this message.....Unable to start FS2020 as I had corrupted files and directories.

I then proceeded to run a "checkdisks and repair" which was successfully completed.

I also ran a few other checks to repair the Game.

Still not being able to start the game I proceeded to do an Uninstall via the Game App.

After this I noticed that there was only a small reduction in gigabites (2.8) on the C: Drive' I was expecting a reduction of about 150GB . So to me that indicated that the Game did not uninstall completely.

I then proceeded to reinstall the FS2020 Game from my Microsoft Game Library. It seemed that it started to download something for a while but when I pressed the "Play" I received this message.

C:ProgramFiles\WindowApps\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_1.39.9.0_x64_8weky...GameLaunchHelper.exe.

Cannot create a file when that file already exists.

So here I am..... and have no idea on how to proceed to get this game back??? so I would really appreciate some ideas and suggestions regarding this issue.

Regards......Herman

PS.....I do have the Steam Edition of FSX.

Thank you for your replies. I tried to locate the file ( gamelaunchhelper .exe. but can't seem to find it.??? Perhaps it is something xbox is supposed to do.????
Why are you asking here when you know that Microsoft is responsible for that particular game?

Either post on the game forum or go directly to their own forums.
