Steam on Ubuntu: does it work or is it pure garbage?
Hi, after some time reading and viewing people using Steam on their Liux machines, I finally installed it on my notebook with Ubuntu and... what a mess...
I'm trying some titles of my collection (very simple titles, no AAA) and on 12 titles tested only 2 actually worked.
Games reported as compatible with Steam deck simply don't even start, or start without audio, etc.

Actually I've tested:

- Dragonball fighetrz : doesn't start
- Forward to the sky : starts but lot of glitches
- Hacker evolution: doesn't start
- Hitman: codename 47 : doesn't start
- Hyperdimension Neptunya Rebirth2: works with some minor issues
- Lili: child of geos : doesn't start
- Machinarium : doesn't start
- Sakura Agent : starts but no audio
- Sakura alien : works fine
- Secret of monkey island special edition : doesn't start
- Transistor : sometimes doesn't start, other times starts but no audio
- Vampire survivors : works great

To me this clearly means Linux it's still not an option for gaming. I don't know why on my system games are so affected and other people have different experiences. It's a good laptop with an Intel i5 1135g7 cpu and 8GB of ram, games tested should work flawlessy on this system (and indeed they do on my Windows partition), but that is.

If someone has some suggestion I'd like to know.

Thanks
