Problem with connection?
Hello, since today I have a problem with my steam app on my pc. For some reason I have an Error Code: -101 Unable to connect to server. Server may be offline or you may not be connected to the internet.

I have no problem with internet, everything else works, even when I start an online game it works. The only thing that doesn't work is well.. everything else, so no Store, Wishlist, Profile, Community nothing. I tried almost everything (Reopen Steam, redownload stream, fix network in cmd with some weird commands, restart pc, restart router, unplugged and plugged in my ethernet cable. Yet the problem still lasts. Weirdly enough steam app on my phone works fine, and even the Internet version of steam works fine, its only the app on my pc. Is there any kind of tips or tricks you guys might have? And do you have the same issue or is it just me?

Thank you.

I did check the forum even before i posted this one, tried everything in there and still nothing.
Are you using Windows Defender Firewall?
I have the same problem that appeared today, I solved it this way

Steam→bin→cef→cef.win64 steamwebhelper.exe allow internet access

I hope this helps you

Not at all, everything is being managed by Kaspersky, a antivirus I pay for, and I have had Kaspersky for a while and never ever have I had problems like this nor did I change anything to make it like this out of nowhere.

Im sorry i don't follow, how did you allow internet access? Through the firewall or properties? Don't want to sound stupid but could you tell me the exact process on how you fixed the issue? Thank you.
I got Error Code: -138 yesterday, but the problems were exactly the same as you described.

First, make sure that steamwebhelper.exe is located here Steam→bin→cef→cef.win64 steamwebhelper.exe, yes or no?

And you say you don't use Windows Defender Firewall? Then I don't know how I can help you. I've set it up so that all programs that require internet access go through Windows Defender Firewall, and if a new program appears or changes in any way, WDF automatically blocks that file from accessing the internet until I explicitly allow WDF to access the internet! Do you understand what I mean?
Somehow steamwebhelper.exe stopped accessing the internet, I have no other ideas, I allowed steamwebhelper.exe to access the internet yesterday through WDА , and everything worked again.

Yeah I understand what you mean, but since I use Kaspersky that takes care of every kind of protection, including firewall and everything i don't use WDF and after allowing internet access through Kaspersky it still didn't do anything or changed anything, I contacted steam support yesterday and i guess all I can do now is to wait for their answer, many people have the same problem, but not everyone, which is weird.
