Trade holds question
So, I know it says no trading here, but I don't see where I could put this, and its help about trade holds, not trading.
I have a separate steam account that my brother uses on my PC from time to time, and I like to send him items on TF2. Well, he wants to give me something back this time, and since there would be a trade hold, he wants to use the item while its on hold. Does the item stay in his inventory so he can use it until then? or does it disappear?
Once again, sorry for the post about trading here.

You can't use an item while it's in a trade.

If the item itself still has its own trade hold, you can use it all you like. Once it is in a trade offer, it is no longer available for use by the person.
