Game is abandoned by the devs, it can be great fun but suffers from lack of content and modability to keep a level of longevity and it's playerbase is dwindling.

Get it on a 75%+ off sale. Otherwise theres better alternatives to look into.

It's a small community with a geriatric pulse, not for the feint (get it?) of heart, very noob-unfriendly. But for those with grit and determination; it's an addictive dopamine rush every kill you get, every team fight won, every objective taken with just seconds on the clock. I can also FEEL myself getting better at the game, your muscle memory has you doing crazy moves worthy of a hype-edit.

My favorite thing about Mordhau is the community. I've heard it said that it's like showing up to a run-down pub or bar- It's intimidating, scary, and someone is getting jumped in the corner; but you come around enough you start to recognize faces, start making friends, making enemies- fitting in... or sticking out.

Let me not forget how humorous this game can be, there is not one game where I don't at least audibly laugh at something stupid happening. The voicelines and gestures are great for communicating in this game with no voip (thank goodness). Roleplay as it's called in all-chat is a skill in-of-itself- trust me, if you encounter someone doing cutscene quality level gesture+voiceline combos, I guarantee they could probably eat you alive in a fight.

TLDR; I love this game, and the people who play it often. Getting better at the game is rewarding, but it won't be easy. Good luck Mercinary.

game is really fun but you get random people that want to walk infront of you for no reason then try to kick you people in this community are just a holes and They are the only reason I will refund this game and not play anymore after just 1 match
