Overall, Saints Row: The Third is enjoyable. Missions are reletively quick and seeing the saints react to the bizzar situation they've built around themselves is amusing.

On the downside, there is a bit of a negetive portrayal of gender in this game and the game will occasinaly crash.

For achievement hunters out there - The game is so old that the 'Jumped In' achievement is no longer achivable in this version of the game.

If you're time poor and looking to unwind with some dumb fun, this game fills that roll well.

Just get Saints Row 2 instead

This one moved all the side content activities into individual points across the entire map instead of concentrating them as levels in one point, and removed all useful rewards from it. Plus made some of them be part of the "main story" to show them to you.

And with both the weapon leveling and your own character leveling having to buy the abilities, you're going to always be broke.

The story tries to be crazy and serious all at the same time, managing to instead be a nothing burger.
Heck, for a game about doing crimes and shooting people, during the story you only kill one actual important bad guy person character, and that happens very early on.
