My reaction to the story: ¯\(ツ)/¯

The combat feels nice but here is my problem atleast in story mode, So you pick a normal mode for the story and you fight your first fight. That shxt is not a normal mode. it staright up hardcore af. Thats not the problem though, i do like challenge however, once you lose to the AI for like 2 rounds the game automatically decrease its level for you to super easy. Now that ruins the experience for me. if its gonna be hard just let it be hard, why change?

overall 3.5/5 same as MK11. i prefer MK11 over this though.

Runs well on steam deck and has a fun story. Has alot of classic characters which I liked. The new young character were also very interesting to play. half of them disappear in the next game tho so don't get attached I guess. x-rays are a full bar super move in this instead of a desperation move so less time is spent in those large super cutscenes. Lots of cool scary guest characters. Runs ok on steam deck, there is some random slowdown in cutscenes sometimes. I didn't get crashes.
