The Anymaker demo is live now!

Anyone can download and play the Anymaker demo free on Steam now and until the end of the Steam Next Fest (June 22nd 2026).

This new version of the demo follows many improvements based on player feedback. We have reworked the progression system: completing the bunker location now spawns tier 2 and 3 loot everywhere, meaning there is a lot more high tier loot available and progression in a career game is much more meaningful and sustainable.

There are many other new things going on in the world: NPC survivors now roam the landscape, fighting for their own survival. Direction finders also require a frequency cartridge, with some cartridges findable in the game world, leading the you to valuable locations. The game difficulty also increases with loot tier, and new dangers are introduced.

There has been a general rebalance and rework of several mechanics, so the game does play and feel different. We will continue taking feedback and look forward to your feedback.

Anymaker in Next Fest!

Dear Makers,

Anymaker will be in the upcoming Steam Next Fest, starting June 15!

All players will be able to play the free Anymaker demo during the Next Fest, without having to sign up or register in any way. This is a fully open demo available to everyone.

We have been working hard on the game, taking feedback from the great players who took part in our closed alpha. Many thanks to everyone who played and gave feedback!

The big area of change we have been looking at is career and progression. Many players have given feedback on the looting system and progression. In previous versions, the best loot was only available in the bunker location, and this had limited spawns, meaning that players could only unlock and find so much stuff in a career run within the limited demo area.

This obviously doesn't make sense. Players should be able to keep playing a single career save for a long time, building up new vehicles, and setting up a base of operations.

In the Next Fest demo, we will introduce loot escalation. Rather than bunkers containing loot, they will escalate loot, meaning that completing the first bunker will increase the tier of all loot outside of the bunker. Players can visit new areas or revisit old areas, now containing better loot.

We are also looking at contextual loot. Different locations will spawn different types of loot, with item context making sense - for example, finding food and drink in kitchens.

We also have other plans for career gameplay, and will announce this as the Next Fest launches.

Please remember, while the Next Fest demo contains probably hundreds of hours of gameplay, it is a limited demo and an early version, and doesn't represent the final version.

Development Update

Dear Makers,

Anymaker development is in full swing!

Thank you to all players who have applied to be an Anymaker Alpha Tester. We have had over 6000 applications, with 1000 players currently invited. The good news is that we are starting to scale testing up and expect all players to be invited soon.

We are continually updating the game and have been talking to players and taking feedback. We are now on the 10th version with dozens of reworks and fixes.

Players can submit feedback directly to the developers using the in-game button. We are carefully considering all feedback and making big plans for the next phases of development, and your thoughts and feedback is greatly appreciated.

The alpha version is still an early version of the game, but there is a lot to do, hundreds of items and components, with many testers already playing over 100 hours. While this is a great sign, there is plenty to do, and we are really enjoying working on the game.

We are focused on fixing issues and bugs (as quality comes first), and also straight forward features and improvements, but have plenty of new and more complex features and systems planned too for the future.

I cannot find any engine block in creative mode, is the a menu to spawn it?

В настройках искал нигде нет, пробовал через параметры запуска различные команды тоже не помогло, уже залез в файлы игры и там попытался разобраться в одном файле но ни черта не понятно......

Demo Feedback: I gave up!

I loved StormWorks so I was a little dissapointed with this demo. First game i loaded into Creative Mode to try all the functionalities out. I couldn't figure out how to do anything and there are no explanations. I started a Career Mode, i walked out of the house and got shot and died, 10 seconds after starting the game. I started another Career Mode, this time i was not so unlucky and have bad guys outside my house. Instead I spent way too long trying to figure out how to assemble the golf cart. When I...
