Seriously great game that I recommend giving a try. Only critism is needing flare for fast travel and the repitiveness of liberting towns.

"I'm a firestarter, you're a firestarter..."

The third entry in the Just Cause series, taking the action to a Mediterranean country known as Medici. Rico Rodriguez is on a mission to remove a dictator, Sebastiano Di Ravello, from his homeland. That, however, is but a framing device for the sheer chaos that is bound to ensue.

To put it simply, this game is absurd and over-the-top in the best ways possible: It's full of copious explosions, chaotic gunfights, and plentiful opportunities to exploit the game's unhinged physics engine in a sizeable sandbox environment spanning three major islands. Rico is also more mobile than ever, now having a wingsuit to complement his infinite parachute and physics-defying grappling hook, along with access to "Rebel Drops" that allow him to request vehicles and weapons with only minor restrictions.

The DLCs, although paid, only do more to expand the setting of Just Cause 3, as the locations are added organically and seamlessly to the rest of the game map, without a need to fast travel to or from the areas. They also play more into the small elements of sci-fi that the game's main story touches on, allowing for use of things such as a lightning gun, mech vehicles, and a super-powered wingsuit.

I thoroughly enjoyed the experience through to the end, but I would also say that I only have two complaints about this game:
1. While it's satisfying to unlock new abilities through completing the various challenges, some of the abilities feel odd to lock behind completing challenges. Chief among them is the ability to focus your aim, normally a trivial and ubiquitous feature of third-person shooters, which requires you to complete at least one Shooting Gallery to unlock. Additionally, there is a certain paradoxical element to the nature of these upgrades, as they would make the challenges they're associated with considerably easier, but require you to do sufficiently well on the challenges before you can access them.
2. There is only one save slot for this game, significantly impacting replayability. I suspect the reason for this decision (compared to Just Cause 2, which has several save slots) has to do with technical limitations, and/or the online leaderboard system. Even still, this limitation effectively requires you to start from scratch if you want to re-experience the story, as there is neither a NG+ option nor a way to replay story missions on an existing save.
