Why Early Access?

“It’s a format we’re familiar with some of our previous work ; we also enjoyed the post-release phase of BlackShard, with its content additions and polish updates. We believe it's the right approach, all your feedbacks will help us bring HYPNOS to an its end state and make the best experience out of it.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“4 to 5 month ! We’ll publish the full Early Access roadmap here, but rest assured that we’ve planned for a fairly short duration: Four to five months maximum. This will allow us to complete the content for the final stages of this project, while also giving us time to take on board all the feedback we hope to receive during this period. There will already be plenty to keep you occupied for hours in these dreamlike lands that we are crafting with passion.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We are planning to add several additional areas, storylines for secondary characters, and the conclusion of existing storylines. We are also planning a total of four alternative endings, all accompanied by additional music and artwork. We want to ensure that every corner of the world is meticulously refined and crafted down to the smallest detail, for the final exploration should be a joy filled with discoveries and rewards.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“All features are there and 70% of the world is available. Please refer to the section "About this" in the store page.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price of the game will stay the same for the full release!”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We’ll obviously be monitoring the community hub, just as we’ve always done in the past, and we invite you to join the Discord community to stay in close contact with us! We’ll take on board as much feedback as possible and keep an eye on the winding paths you take to ensure that every conceivable route in this strange world is rich with fantastical sights, encounters and lore. Exploration is the key word in this project, and we fully intend to reward it. ”
